Beautiful location, nice balcony, friendly staff.
Only one coffee machine for both tea and coffee at breakfast resulted in a cue.
The location and surrounds were terrific - you are on the lake and right next to Spiez castle. Great spread put on for breakfast, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Distance and elevation from the train station. Can get around this by catching the local bus, if it’s an issue.

It was nice and central to the local harbour restaurants and water activities.

The hotel was simply excellent. We stayed during a heat wave, and the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, which is not always common in Europe. The rooms are new, modern, and very comfortable we really loved them.
The location of the hotel is perfect. We received a large room with a beautiful view of the lake, and the service was very kind and welcoming. It was also a nice touch that guests could take cups and tea from the lobby whenever they wanted.
I can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality stay with an amazing view. Another great advantage is the free hotel bus to the train station it’s only a 5-minute ride, which made traveling to nearby villages very easy and convenient.

Everything was great. I would mention that the breakfast was good, but quite basic and minimalistic. However, none of us left hungry. The hotel also has a restaurant where you can have dinner in the evening.

הנוף והמיקום היו מושלמים והמסעדה שנמצאת במלון אבל לא שייכת למלון ומחיר ארוחה זהה לארץ. הצוות שירותי ומקסים, והאוכל מעולה.
זו ויוי ארנון ואני לקוחת vip שלכם והגעתי למלון עם בעלי שי שהוא ביצע את ההזמנה הפעם.
קיבלנו חדר בעליית הגג שלדברי הבחורה בקבלה בדיוק עבר חידוש. נתחיל בזה שלהגיע לשם היה צריך לקחת מעלית לקומה 2 ולטפס קומה במדרגות עם המזוודות ואף אחד לא הציע עזרה. החדר היה ממש קטן, באמבטיה לא היה כלום למעט סבון גוף וידיים, אם רצית לשתות חם המוצרים היו ליד הקבלה וגם כוסות חד פעמיות. לא הייתה מראה בחדר למעט באמבטיה.
ארוחת הבוקר הייתה עלובה ומביישת, ביצים, גבינה צהובה 2 סוגים, עגבניות שרי, מלפפונים חתוכים לטבעות, פירות לא של העונה וכשנגמר וביקשתי הבירה הסתכלה על השעון אולי איחרתי בבקשה...לחם ללא גלוטן ביקשתי שהיה יבש ולא נעים, חמאה, ריבות, מיץ תפוזים מקופסא.
הצוות בקבלה לא היה נעים, נקרעו לי מכנסי פשתן של זארה בגלל טיקט חד ממתכת בכיסא במרפסת, ירדתי באותו הרגע להראות להם, שלושה ימים לא פנו אלי וכשבאנו ללכת הבחורה בקבלה ניסתה בכל דרך לומר שכנראה עשיתי הכל לקרוע אותם ואפילו בשפת גוף ואז אמרה מה את רוצה 10 פרנק 20 פרנק זה היה מעליב ולא מכבד.
המחיר שגבו היה גבוה התמורה לא תואמת בכלל, זה לא החדר שהיינו אמורים לקבל ולמלון הזה לא נחזור, למסעדה במלון שמקבלת ציון 10 נחזור בשמחה.
אני בדרך כלל מצלמת את החדר הפעם צילמתי רק את הנוף לצערי.
The staff was very sweet, from the cleaners to the reception, to the resturant and breakfast. It felt very quality controlled and that the customers were taken care of including us. We like that we were given seats at the breakfast so that we got a clean and good table!
We were also very happy to get the Bus pass and thanks to Vivian at the reception, we got to use it to save some time and money around Thun and Spiez.
We would love to come back one day. <3
The bedding(duvet covers) were little too “rough” to the touch which made them very hot during the summer. And the aircon was placed over our heads in bed, which made it little to cold and uncomfortable to use during the night. (We should probably have asked if there were others duvet covers available.
The temperatur adjustment on the aircon didn’t seem to do much difference. I tried putting it at 25 degrees which I thought was normal temperature in a room, but after hours of use it was really cold. I also put it at 30 degrees which I would think would be pretty hot. But was still pretty cold after hours of use.
Overall lovely stay!
