En general, bien
Pros:

Lo suficientemente limpio y cómodo.

Cons:

No había vista a ningún río.
Los abanicos pueden ser ruidosos y las luces de los botones algo molestas si sos sensible a ese tipo de cosas.
El inodoro no estaba completamente fijado al suelo por lo que hacía ruido y se movía un poco cada vez que nos levantabamos.
La ubicación no está mal, lo +recomendable es transporte propio. Sí es posible llegar en bus público, pero dependerá de la hora en que llegues al muelle o pagar un taxi local (pueden ser muy caros).

Durch Gemeinschaftsbereich schöner Ort für Begegnung.

Sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Schöne Bioluminiszenztour über das Hotel gebucht.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer hatte zwar sehr leistungsstarken Ventilator- bei den hohen Temperaturen haben wir uns eine AC gewünscht.

Fantastic host! Nice place to stay.
Pros:

The host was so helpful! She helped me organise a tour to see the bioluminescent plankton and helped me with taxis too. The laundry service was excellent. The room itself was clean, comfortable and good value for money. I would highly recommend!

Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad bij El Gecko Hotel & Tours. Wij kozen voor een kamer met een eigen badkamer, die volledig aan onze verwachtingen voldeed.
De Nederlandse eigenaresse, Inge, is erg gastvrij en geeft graag tips over de omgeving en leuke activiteiten. Het ontbijt was echt fantastisch en een van de hoogtepunten van ons verblijf.
Op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden ligt een mooi strand en ook het Curú National Wildlife Refuge, op zo'n 20 minuten rijden, is absoluut een bezoek waard.
Een kleine tip: zorg ervoor dat je voldoende contant geld bij je hebt. Dit wordt vooraf duidelijk aangegeven door de accommodatie, maar het is handig om hier rekening mee te houden.

Cons:

Het kan behoorlijk warm worden in de kamer. Er is wel een ventilator aanwezig, maar geen airconditioning. Tegen een meerprijs is airconditioning beschikbaar. Wij hebben daar geen gebruik van gemaakt en vonden de ventilator uiteindelijk voldoende.

Logement adapté pour un transit avec tout le nécessaire

Logement rustique mais avec tout le nécessaire
Il y avait une cuisine partagee bien équipée. Nous partagions la sdb et les toilettes. Il m’a qu’air des étagères dans la sdb pour poser ses affaires.
Seul un ventilateur dans la chambre ( possibilité de prendre la climatisation en supplément (12€/nuit)).
Bref le logement est parfaitement adapté si vous souhaitez juste faire un transit et ne pas y rester.

Quelques bestioles dans la chambre
Seulement un ventilateur bruyant même en mode sleep mais pas possible de dormir sans

Zeer aan te bevelen.
Pros:

Vriendelijke ontvangst, de kleinschaligheid geeft je een thuisgevoel, goede bedden. Je zit volledig in de natuur, pura vida. Je mag de keuken vrij gebruiken maar het ontbijt is ook zeer lekker. Ideaal gelegen om Curi reservaat te bezoeken.

Cons:

Zoals overal in Costa Rica misten we wat haakjes om kleren op te hangen.

La mujer que lo lleva fue muy agradable y dispuesta a responder a lo que necesitábamos.

Cons:

La habitación, al estar cerca de la naturaleza, tenía bichos porque no estaba bien aislada, las paredes tenían grietas, las ventanas agujeros y la puerta estaba en alto.
Estaba en general en muy mal estado para el precio que tenía, siendo temporada baja.
La localización tampoco era muy agradable.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr passend, wenn man zuvor die Fähre genommen hat. Man ist umgeben von Tieren und Pflanzen, was es sehr gemütlich macht.

Being very close to nature, a parrot was waiting for us at our wakening.
Also the bioluminescent tour on the kayak was absolutely beautiful.
Also the owners are incredibly kind, and they do all they can to make your stay unforgettable.
