Herzlicher Service und viel Potenzial, Zimmerausstattung etwas altmodisch
Pros:

Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr gepflegt, sauber und im Service wirklich positiv hervorzuheben. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Freundlichkeit, Verlässlichkeit und einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gelegt wird.

Cons:

Gleichzeitig wirkt die Zimmerausstattung in Teilen deutlich aus der Zeit gefallen, sodass das Haus mit einer behutsamen Modernisierung des Mobiliars und der Textilien noch einmal klar gewinnen könnte.

Solides Hotel in guter Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich in recht guter Lage in der Neustadt. Die alles beherrschende Burg ist fußläufig innerhalb von etwa 15-20 Minuten erreichbar und zwar auf demselben Höhenniveau (die Altstadt hingegen befindet sich ein kräftezehrendes Stück unterhalb der Neustadt). In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es ausgezeichnete Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für alle Bedürfnisse. Das Parken gestaltet sich sehr unkompliziert auf ausreichenden öffentlichen, kostenlosen Parkplätzen vor dem bzw. rund um das Hotel (Achtung: einige wenige Parkplätze direkt vis-a-vis des Eingangs sind nicht rund um die Uhr benützbar). Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist grundsolide, allerdings werden an warmen Speisen ausschließlich weiche Eier angeboten. Große Ausnahme: Am letzten Aufenthaltstag wurden wir aktiv gefragt, ob man uns vielleicht Spiegeleier braten sollte, da gerade Zeit dafür wäre. Das hat uns sehr gefreut, dankeschön! Ärgerlich war, dass sich auf einer Bank direkt unter unserem Fenster an einem der Abende eine kleine Gruppe von offenbar reichlich intoxinierten Jugendlichen breitgemacht hat, die bis spät in den Abend dort lautstark ihr Dasein feierten.

Ich war mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs.
Es gibt eine Tiefgarage in der man das Rad einstellen kann.
Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich mit frischem Obst, das Personal sehr freundlich.
