This is a very quiet, peaceful, tidy, yet inexpensive place to stay not far from the rail station.
Pros:

Nice balcony with table and chair attached to my single room. The room was also equipped with a small table and chair. The balcony-side wall was full of windows that brought the outdoors in. Everything was spotless and functional. Location is in a quiet upscale neighborhood within easy reach of the main train station and an assortment of restaurants. Just outside the front door is a park-like area with walking trails.

Cons:

The spiral staircase that leads to the first floor has an angled step at the bottom that may trip you if you aren't paying close attention.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war funktional gut ausgestattet. Das Zimmer verfügte über einen Balkon. Die Lage in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs war sehr praktisch. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Pros:

Ein gemütliches, familiäres Ambiente. Sehr schönes Zimmer. Tolles Frühstück.

Cons:

Im Fernseher gab es ausser ARD, SWR und Arte nur den ganzen Privatkram. SAT 1 und RTL mit allen Regionalsparten, Welt, Kabel 1,VOX, Pro Sieben, alles, was mir zuwider ist. Und ausgerechnet ZDF war in Mainz nicht im Angebot. Sowas geht nicht.

Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt und die Altstadt gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Allerdings sind die Höhenunterschiede teilweise mit Treppen zu überwinden. Für uns war das kein Problem.

Pros:

Großes Appartmrnt, dehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Reichlich Platz und sehr ruhige Lage aber mit gutem Zugang zur City. Jederzeit wieder!

Der kostenpflichtige Parkplatz der beim Hotel dabei ist ist nichts für schwache Nerven, da er sehr eng ist und man teilweise längere Strecken rückwärts fahren muss. Würde ich nur geübten Autofahrern empfehlen!

Sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft ganz nah am Zentrum von Mainz
Pros:

Zimmer war sehr sauber. Sehr ruhig, obgleich nur wenige Fussminuten von der Innenstadt entfernt. Auch hatten wir eine sehr freundliche Dame am Empfang. Der Check-in war problemlos.
