Sfeervolle vakantieplek in een prachtig wandelgebied!
Pros:

Prachtige locatie, sfeervol huis en bijgebouw. Nette kamers, denk dat iedere kamer anders is. Wij hadden een grote in het bijgebouw en een kleine in het hoofdgebouw. Dat was mij overigens niet duidelijk dat ze niet naast elkaar zouden zitten. Maar misschien iets gemist (niet goed gelezen) in de berichtgeving. Goede tip gekregen voor de wandeling (het Romerpfad, erg mooi!!) en geïnteresseerde gastheer en vrouw. Prima ontbijt, soms de broodjes even op, maar dat werd wel weer bijgevuld. Lekkere appelstroop ook! En gratis koffie en thee!

Cons:

Het was een dikke prima, maar misschien een tip om bij het ontbijtbuffet niet direct achter de gasten te gaan staan.. het is al wat krapjes ;-) al is de persoonlijke aandacht wel heel fijn... en de douche verandert nogal eens van temperatuur.. maar weet niet of dit altijd zo is natuurlijk. Verder was bij het afrekenen te weinig in rekening gebracht (niet op gelet met pinnen) dit werd nog wel weer op ons verhaalt toen we nog wat drinken voor op het terras bestelden (na afrekenen).. enfin.. ik weet ook niet wat en hoe ik dit anders had gedaan.. maar waarschijnlijk iets anders.

We hebben de eerste avond in Trier gegeten voordat we aankwamen en de 2e avond bij de buren achter het hotel. Die hebben alleen schnitzel en je moet reserveren. Ondanks weinig keus heerlijk gegeten (en voldoende op tafel).

Heel erg genoten van ons verblijf in Villa Vontenie
Pros:

Comfortabele kamer, goed ontbijt, heel gastvrije en hulpvaardige eigenaars. Prachtige locatie in de natuur, vlakbij burg Ramstein. Ideaal voor actieve (wandel)vakanties. Niet ver van de Moezelvallei, Trier, het Müllerthal in Luxemburg. Wij hebben er erg van genoten.
