This was a very enjoyable, comfortable and convenient place to say with very helpful staff.
Pros:

Location was excellent, just three minutes' walk from the Schwabentor and then into the rest of the old town, with trams close by. The staff were universally kind and helpful in every way. The orientation of the bed in the room was unusual but there was plenty of space for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Freiburg and staying at Alleehaus made it just that bit better.

Cons:

Hard to find fault.

Cependant, c'est assez bruyant.
Problème de douche pas très agréable passant du chaud au froid subitement. Pas d ascenseur.

Pros:

The location was fantastic, near one of the towers but on a tree lined street leading to the river. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the lovely breakfast room. The ladies at reception were welcoming and stored my bag as I arrived early in the day. The room was comfortable.

Ideally located for a visit to Freiburg
Pros:

Located 5 minutes on foot from the cathedral, we enjoyed staying in this hotel in an old mansion. The lady at the reception was friendly enough to wait for us to arrive (at 19:15 even though reception actually closes at 18:00). Private parking in a garage box. Can also recommend the cordon blue and schnitzel in Gasthaus Goldener Anker which is 5 minutes on foot from the hotel. We only spend one night so we didn't really care that the room was quite small (also: no A/C) and the bathroom quite outdated.

It was a wonderful stay!
Pros:

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, good service. Large fan in the room mitigated the lack of air conditioning during the heat wave.

Nicht im Hochsommer und Renovierung abwarten.
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage. In wenigen Minuten zu Fuss in der Altstadt. Historisches Gebäude. Sehr freun dliches und hilfsbereites Personal vom check in bis zum check out.

Cons:

Zimmer 24 abgewohnt mit dringendem Reformbedarf. Fassade mit erheblichen Mängeln. Bad ohne ausreichende Ablagen.Sehr hellhörig. Keine aisreichende Kühlung/Klimatisierung bei hohen Aussentemperaturen.
