Pros:

Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut! Der Service ist äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Man kann auch abends im Restaurant hervorragend essen. Und die Bar ist sehr gemütlich. Alles perfekt für einen schönen Aufenthalt!

Pros:

Etwas Besonders, modern bis urig.Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre

Cons:

Eigentlich nichts, eine Dame vom Servicepersonal hat sich etwas seltsam zu meinem Hund geäußert, aber das war schon alles. Da Hunde im Hotel erlaubt sind, hat mich das sehr gewundert.

This is a charming hotel with beautifully decorated public rooms and a well-designed, slightly quirky restaurant which is the main feature of this hotel, it seems. My room was gorgeous and a great size. The village where the hotel is located is lovely. There is free parking, a bonus in Germany, and electric car chargers. I had a meal in the gourmet restaurant which was very good.

Cons:

Breakfast was a la carte and in the same gourmet vein as the previous evening's meal. I am not a morning person so It was a bit overwhelming and it turned out the 'Bamberger Hoernchen' was a croissant. Everything was lovely and homemade and the confiture can be bought in the hotel shop along with other gourmet items and some lovely tumblers that I was very tempted to buy.

Pros:

Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Der Spa Bereich war klein, ohne Fenster, aber es war sehr wenig los. Das Schwimmbad ist sehr warm, aber etwas dunkel. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, aber wir konnten den Bach plätschern hören. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Abendessen im Bistro war raffiniert und teilweise sehr gut, hat aber seinen Preis. Wunderschön ist der Weg zum Waldfreibad am Bach durch den Wald.

Ein schöner Aufenthalt. Man hat ja nur einmal im Jahr Geburtstag, und ich komme gerne im nächsten Jahr wieder.
Pros:

Ich hatte mich bewusst für dieses Hotel entschieden und meine Erwartungen wurden voll und ganz erfüllt. Das Personal, ob im Restaurant, an der Rezeption oder auf der Etage, war stets aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Einzelzimmer hatte zwar keinen besonderen Ausblick, aber das war für eine Nacht in Ordnung. Die Zimmerausstattung scheint im Hotel individuell zu sein, je nach Lage im Haus, und kombiniert modern und alt auf geschmackvolle und gemütliche Weise. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen. Der Abend im Restaurant war für mich außergewöhnlich. Das 5-Gänge-Menü und die dazu ausgewählten Weine waren vorzüglich und man konnte die hochwertigen Produkte schmecken. Der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach gerechtfertigt. Sehr interessant fand ich, dass das formschöne weiße Geschirr mit Tassen oder Tellern mit Streublümchen und Goldrand oder im Design der 50er Jahre ergänzt wurde.

Cons:

Was mich jedoch persönlich wirklich gestört hat, waren die Hunde im Restaurant. Während es sonst eher kleine waren, lag diesmal ein großer Hund mittig im Gang und ließ sich auch nicht umsetzen. Das Personal war gezwungen, Umwege zu gehen, und ich empfand es einfach störend. Natürlich gibt es heutzutage keinen strengen Dresscode für abends, aber lange Hosen für die Herren hätte ich passender gefunden.

Great hotel
Pros:

Very nice hotel with excellent staff. Free minibar was a real plus as was the ev charger. Really comfortable beds.

Cons:

We were very surprised (not the fault of the hotel - but purely our misunderstanding) by the bistro. We thought it would be a simple bistro but was far from it. So dinner cost us probably four times more than we had planned. Because we’re not German we probably didn’t understand the chef’s reputation. So unless you really want the whole experience, maybe worth checking if there are cheaper restaurant options in the village.
