Staying at Hotel Tarull was one of the highlights of my time in Tossa de Mar. What makes this hotel truly special is not only the location, but the warmth and genuine hospitality of Luis and his family. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcome.

Luis is an exceptional host. He took the time to personally explain the area to me and shared recommendations for hidden beaches, beautiful viewpoints, local places, and other treasures of the region that I would probably never have discovered on my own. He did everything he could to make my stay as easy and convenient as possible. What impressed me most was that this personal attention was not limited to me—Luis seems to build a genuine connection with every guest, which gives the hotel a very special atmosphere that you simply do not get in larger hotels.

The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start the day, and the rooftop terrace is another highlight, with wonderful views over Tossa de Mar and the surrounding landscape.

The location is also fantastic. You are right in the historic part of Tossa de Mar, close to the beautiful old town and only a short walk from the beach. Everything is within easy reach, while the hotel itself still feels peaceful and welcoming.

Tossa de Mar and the surrounding region are beautiful: great food, friendly people, stunning coastline, and a remarkable amount of history and culture. Staying at Hotel Tarull made it even more memorable because Luis and his family helped me experience the place on a much more personal and local level.

I would absolutely stay here again and can recommend Hotel Tarull without hesitation.

Ein wirklich außergewöhnlich herzlich geführtes Familienhotel. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr warm und persönlich, alle sind unglaublich freundlich, fürsorglich und mehrsprachig. Wenn es einmal ein Problem gibt, wird es sofort und unkompliziert gelöst.

Auch mit Kind ist das Hotel wirklich hervorragend geeignet. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt – und vielen Dank noch einmal für das wunderschöne Abschiedsgeschenk für mein Kind! So eine herzliche Geste erlebt man wirklich selten. ❤️

Die Lage ist ebenfalls hervorragend: nur etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt, dabei leicht den Hügel hinauf und damit angenehm ruhig. Gleichzeitig ist man nicht so weit oben wie bei manchen anderen Unterkünften und erreicht Strand, Altstadt und die übrigen Aktivitäten in Tossa sehr gut. Auch die Busstation für die Weiterfahrt nach Barcelona oder zum Flughafen ist gut erreichbar.

Für die Hauptsaison fanden wir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich hervorragend. Dazu kommen viele Extras, die bereits inklusive sind: ein leckeres Frühstück, frisch zubereitete Eier nach Wunsch, kostenloser Verleih von Sonnenschirmen und vieles mehr.

Insgesamt eine ganz klare Empfehlung – besonders für Familien mit Kindern. Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

L'albergo è molto carino, in un'ottima posizione, tranquillo e con una colazione abbondante e di ottima qualità. Soprattutto, però, i gestori sono sempre disponibili, gentili, amichevoli, umani. Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia godersi davvero un soggiorno in questa graziosa cittadina!

Luis en zijn vrouw van het hotel waren echt super vriendelijk en behulpzaam (zelfs in hoogseizoen) wat een lieve mensen!
Je kon er terecht met al je vragen en ze gaven de beste tips om te gaan eten/drinken etc.. Dat maak je nog zelden mee. Ik hou van deze mensen echt een dikke 10! X

De locatie, het ontbijt, de kamer, maar vooral de gastheer en gastvrouw. Wat een service en gastvrijheid, zelden meegemaakt.

The hotel is located in the old part of the city, close to the fortress, close to the bus station and close to everything you will need here. Very pleasant to stay. The owners are lovely and very kind. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel is decorated with care and effort, and this is the attitude towards the guests.

Kdo se chce vyhnout velkým resortům nebo hotelům a zažít spíš kamarádskou atmosféru ve staré části města tak rozhodně doporučuji, pro Luise a jeho paní(majitelé) není nic problém, k tomu super terasa s výbornou sangrii.

Дуже привітний власник готелю, допомагав зі всіма питаннями, був на зв'язку, допоміг з паркуванням, радив що цікавого можна відвідати і подивитись.

What immediately stood out about Hotel Tarull was its unique charm and character. It's a hotel with lots of history, filled with charming little details that give it so much personality.

But what makes this place so special are the owners. They are exceptional. They always greet everyone with a smile, make every guest feel genuinely welcome, and ensure everything is perfect throughout your stay. Their kindness and hospitality create an atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.

The hotel is also perfect for solo travellers. Guests often gather in the lounge area in the evenings, making it easy to meet new people. As a woman travelling alone with my son, I felt completely safe and at ease throughout our stay.

The rooms are spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the bathrooms are generously sized. The entire hotel is impeccably maintained. The location is ideal, just a one minute walk to the beach and equally close to the bus station, with direct buses to and from Barcelona and Girona, including both airports.

If you're looking for a place where you'll feel genuinely welcome and exceptionally well looked after, Hotel Tarull is an excellent choice.

The personal touch from Luis and his family made our stay very memorable. Large hotel chains cannot compete with a family run hotel of this calibre. We could not have asked for a more genuine host and hotel.
