Nous avons passé un agréable moment au Richelieu.
Pros:

Le personnel est très accueillant et très sympathique. On s'y sent en sécurité. La chambre était très confortable. Nous avons apprécié les alentours, la ville, le château, l'Orangerie juste en face pour aller boire un cocktail et manger des tapas l'été, le petit déjeuner...tout était parfait. Et le parking du château juste à côté est gratuit dès 19h jusque 9h le lendemain, très pratique pour des gens de passage comme nous. On y reviendra sans hésitation.

Cons:

Il n'y a rien que nous n'avons pas apprécié.

Fonctionne pour une nuit mais sans plus
Pros:

Idéalement situé à proximité du château et d'un parking. La literie est confortable et la chambre spacieuse.

Cons:

Odeur désagréable de pieds quand on est arrivé dans la chambre.
Absence d'un petit frigo, ce qui est dommage surtout avec les fortes chaleur.

- No air conditioning! Rooms were very, very hot: unfortunately, our travel to F. happened during heatwave in July and when there was a local fire near F. The temperature outdoor and inside the hotel was the same - around 38C-40C. My daughter was close to get a heatstroke so we left earlier. My request to refund one night was declined. My request to cancel the booking prior to arrival was also ignored even so they new that they can't accommodate people that time, providing basic needs in that extreme heat. I find it very un-ethical and unprofessional.
The facilities are very below the common standards.

- Lots of stairs and maze-like corridors through the old building
- Mattresses are hard as rock
- The streets around are very noisy. Across the street is a big area with bar and loud music.

Avoid.
The town is a small place and whatever you book - will be a close walking distance to the palace and it's gorgeous park area. Around the corner is Ibis hotel - twice less expansive, comfy mattresses, great shower, air conditioning! and a very friendly staff; I wish I new about this hotel's chain before and booked with them instead.

Très bien. Personnels très agréables et disponibles, chambre très bien, calme, propre.
En centre-ville. Stationnement proche pour voiture.
Parfait pour aller visiter le château de Fontainebleau qui se trouve juste devant l'hôtel.
