Gek genoeg is het een hotel waarvan je denkt dat het wat vergane glorie is na hoogtijdagen in de jaren 80. Maar dat is juist de charme van het hotel. De basis is er. Geen overdreven gedoe. Heerlijk zwembad en centraal. Dus aanrader voor gewoon een relaxte plek.

Het heerlijke zwembad, gezellig aangekleed om even lekker bij te komen na een reisdag.
Verder vriendelijk personeel, de kamer was gedateerd maar wel prima en schoon

Cons:

De airco maakte nogal geluid op hardere stand en wij vonden het ontbijt (voor €16 pp) wat minder
(Er was genoeg maar niet helemaal naar onze smaak eerlijk gezegd)
En wel echt 20/25 min van de snelweg ..dus als overnachtingshotel van/naar het zuiden wel wat omrijden
Dorpje “Privas” waar het hotel heel dichtbij is vonden wij ook echt een tegenvaller, achteraf niet de moeite waard om voor “om” te rijden (maar daar kan het hotel niets aan doen natuurlijk)

Hôtel méritant d'être reconnu
Pros:

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'Hôtel La Chaumette à Privas.
L'hôtel est très bien décoré, avec de nombreux petits espaces intimistes où il est agréable de se détendre. La piscine est magnifique et nous a agréablement surpris. Son amplitude horaire est un vrai plus : ouverte de 7h30 à 22h, sans restrictions particulières.
Ce qui nous a le plus étonnés, c'est le respect des clients. Les enfants peuvent apporter leurs bouées, il est possible de manger et de boire au bord de la piscine, et pourtant chacun respecte les lieux et les autres. C'est vraiment appréciable.
Les chambres sont confortables, l'établissement est d'une propreté irréprochable et tout le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésiter et reviendrons avec plaisir.

Uitstekend hotel.
Pros:

Schone kamer en zeer vriendelijke medewerkers. Hond van harte welkom en een goed gevarieerd ontbijt. Het hotel is prima voor doorreis maar een weekje is ook prima.
