The Hôtel de France – Le Patriarche occupies an 18th-century building listed as a historical monument. The building has three floors and no elevator. Therefore, it is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Please note: self check-in only; the hotel does not have a reception desk.
The hotel offers 14 renovated rooms in a simple and comfortable style. All rooms have a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, a kettle, and Wi-Fi. Room service is provided twice a week.
Paid parking is available. Street parking is also possible (blue zone, parking disc required).
The Le Patriarche restaurant is open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Lunch is served from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Please note: no breakfast or lunch service is provided on weekends. Several cafes and brunch spots are nearby.
The hotel is 500 meters from the Swiss border. Geneva Airport is a 5-minute drive away.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Pas de porte de salle de bain et porte d’entrée qui donne directement sur la douche.
J'ai déjà séjourné dans cet hôtel à plusieurs reprises. Il est charmant, très bien situé et pratique.
Pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, l'endroit est impraticable en raison d'escaliers raides et étroits. Il pèche également par l'absence de petit réfrigérateur et par la taille de la télévision, qui est minuscule. Pour le reste, c'est un petit hôtel plein de charme.

The bistro restaurant is excellent quality.
The room was clean and cosy, ideal for a short business trip.
The location is excellent. Local public transport is a short walk away with direct connection to Geneva airport and palexpo.
If anything, only the absence of an elevator but this was not a problem.
The TV in the room is a bit small.
It was very cozy and extremely beautiful. Every morning I looked out the window , saw a wonderful statue of Voltaire , looked at people and cars slowly taking up speed on their way to work or maybe leisure. Hotel is perfectly located in the middle of a small crossroad ; you have bakeries and restaurants in each corner. The hotel itself has a be try cute coffee shop and a restaurant.
Beds are wonderful , everything is clean and fresh. There is a kettle , water, tea /coffee in the room. Rooms are looked after every day ( amazing!!) , so you can rest assure it will be wonderful staying there.
Perhaps the only thing to be aware of is , that this building is old ( and has high historical significance!) , and of course, if there are people on the floor above - may make some noise. If you are a little bothered by noises , it is just to tell the hotels staff and it will be regulated.
Très bien placé, à 15 minutes à vélo du Palexpo et 30 du centre-ville, avec une petite vue sur le Jura et les Alpes. Le comptoir Pataphysique de l'autre côté de la rue est très sympathique pour boire un café

Excellent location, good clear instructions, good parking (€7 extra).
Shower needed to be run every few hours as there was a strong smell of drains otherwise.
