Very good location, great building and friendly staff
There’s some road noise early in the morning
The free breakfast was nice and simple. Didn't have many options but it was healthy, fresh and tasty. The air conditioning and bed were nice and comfortable.
The toilet knob was broken. I reported it to front desk, who promptly informed facilities. The response was quick but very lacking: "push the knob hard and with two hands." I told them I have an injured arm and simply pushing anything with that arm/hand is not feasible. They shrugged and said this is all they can do to assist in this situation.
Coffees ordered because Nespresso broken turned out to be on the house. At least one staff member quite personable, although the cabbie the hotel ordered for us turned into our worst encounter on this trip, yelled nonstop about being hard done by, a hostile malcontent who refused to take a credit card.
1. Fake land phone takes up half bedside table already too small 2. bathroom so dark unable to see in mirror 3. sink drain plug missing, not good for contact lens wearers, other sink leaking by 4. sink facets dripping/noisy 5. coffee maker broken, missing lid, leaking water on table 6. door falling off fridge cabinet. 7. altho ordered early in eve, restaurant out of beef/ale pie, haddock more taste-free than we'd have thought possible, very limited menu. 8. understaffed. 9. dark 10.our third visit and a shame the place has been neglected, won't return. 11. Rainwater leaking from hall ceiling and carpet sticky.
This hotel has the best staff... super friendly and very helpful.

Lovely hotel and bar, room was lovely and it was in a good location. However what really makes this place is the staff they were brilliant, think if the dog wasn’t on a lead JJ would have stole him. Even left some items in the room by accident and they were happy to send these back to my in the post. Highly recommend

We arrived late on the day we were booked because of the weather and they were very accommodating with us.
We had a lovely stay in this hotel and had a lovely time going around Richmond. Very close to the train station which is the very best thing that happened because we used the train to get in and out Richmond. We had a lovely welcome biscuit, the room was nice and comfortable enough. The staff were amazing, very friendly esp Jayjay and George and he made a really nice coffee👌 There was a complimentary continental breakfast and you can even make coffee in your own room with no extra cost. Sorry guys, we were not able to try your food but the burger looks scrumptious🤭 We will definitely book this hotel again in the future👍🙏🏻❤️
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and colourful. Great selection of complimentary coffees/teas . Pub and restaurant had a nice relaxed atmosphere as well.
Breakfast was tasty and fresh but service was a bit laid back bringing cooked choice. We were in a hurry so it didn't suit us. Can't complain about the choices and food, try were great.

We were lucky as we were on the top (third) floor. If we had been on the first floor, there would have been quite a lot of noise from the bar below. So good to bear in mind.
Attention to small maintenance issues could be better. We had a dripping tap and the shower didn’t drain well.
The staff were amazing. So friendly. The room was very comfortable and although it was a busy pub we could not hear a thing upstairs.
Breakfast was lovely.

There wasn’t always someone on reception.
