True gem.
Pros:

This hotel is a true gem and it felt like I was staying in an old world hotel, the rooms are big and neat and the Scottish theme came through in all the decor, great job guys.

Cons:

Very little to critique about the hotel, all I can say is that the staff sometimes didn’t understand the basic English requests. But that is really looking for something to critique.

Initially I was kept waiting for ages to get a lunch, as staff couldn't get the app to book me onto empty table in restaurant. There were tables visible, but I wasn't offered the opportunity to just sit down whilst they sorted it out.... more concerned with the computer system than service for customers?

De omgeving.

Cons:

De sfeer is er op achteruit gegaan in vergelijking met de laatste 3 jaar. De nieuwe eigenaar probeert denk ik een goed product te leveren maar voor ons was het een domper. Het personeel in het restaurant werd op fouten gewezen waar de gasten bij zaten. Dat vond ik zeer onprettig en ik denk de persoon zelf ook. De persoonlijke touch is er niet meer. De gemeende vriendelijkheid is weg. Alleen Rona en de dame met het Franse accent waren gemeend vriendelijk. Beiden zijn van de oude garde en dat kon je zien, voelen en horen. Jammer dat het geborgen gevoel dat we hadden de afgelopen jaren er niet meer is. Tenminste niet voor ons.

prima hotel met superlocatie in een gezellig stadje
Pros:

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het Cairngorm Hotel. De locatie vonden we fantastisch: midden in het gezellige stadje en een perfecte uitvalsbasis om de prachtige omgeving van Cairngorm te ontdekken.

’s Avonds hebben we prima gegeten in het hotel en een leuke extra was de doedelzakspeler die om zes uur voor het hotel stond te spelen. Dat gaf meteen een echte Schotse sfeer!

Ook in het stadje en de omgeving hebben we ons uitstekend vermaakt. Al met al hebben we een heel prettig verblijf gehad en we zouden het Cairngorm Hotel zeker aanbevelen!
