Lovely staff, lovely comfortable beds, good breakfast. Great towels and bedding.
Room was very small although reflected in the price. Bathroom a bit tired and needs modernising.
Rom was large, clean, light & airy. A great king size bed and comfortable chairs. A good sized television and an radio alarm supplied. Very good bathroom with a large shower area. Linen & plenty of towels supplied.
The hotel had given plenty of attention to detail.
Car parking was at the rear of the property and quite safe, access to the car park gained by using the hotels rear entrance.
Extra cost for parking was £20.00 and reserved in advance.
We chose to stay during a really hot heat wave. Alas, there were no fans or air conditioning.
The proprietor ( a really pleasant fellow ), assured us he had been searching shops and suppliers for these and had run out of stock. He said he needed to address this problem quickly and I'm confident he will do this asap.
The reception staff and waiting staff were so very friendly and chatty.
Location was great. Close to train station/town/harbour and beach.

Pressure of water in shower wasn't brilliant
The staff were excellent and very helpful, the whole hotel was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was lovely
Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, forgot to ask for water and I don't think it was on the breakfast list.
Didn't see earl grey tea as an option but again i didn't ask.
A good system for ordering breakfast the day before as then everything is freshly cooked for your arrival at breakfast.
Our family room was large, clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The room was exceptionally hot because of the heatwave and we did get a fan when i asked for one but probably could have done with two. We had to have the windows open at night so street noise was inevitable.

Lovely hotel, perfectly placed for the beach and town centre. Parking available just down the road.
Our room was particularly warm, if I could make one change it would be to have a fan in the room on warm days.
Great location, very clean, great staff
Not the fault of the property, just extremely hot weather! Our room (No 27) was at the top of the building and unbearably hot. Hotel provided fan but still very hot. Suggest requesting lower floor room if height of summer!

The hotel is situated in a quiet area a short 10 minute walk to the Esplanade.
We stayed for 2 nights whilst sightseeing in Devon.
The mattress was a bit hard for our liking but there again the hotel has to cater for all tastes.
This would not deter us from staying at this hotel again and we hope to be back soon for a longer stay.

The Family Room very light airy and bright with plenty of towels and essentials shampoo etc.. Breakfast cooked to Order very nice.

The location was excellent, close to the beach & town. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. The hotel was spotless and clean. The breakfast was yummy.
A great room, with all the facilities that was needed. Breakfast was great, and as much as you required.
