Disappointing this visit. This was our 3rd time there. Cooked breakfast was good.
Pros:

Convenient for where we needed to be.

Cons:

Breakfast on both mornings was a let down. Had to ask for cereals, fruit, yogurts, bowls, cups, tea, coffee & juices to be replenished as there were none, nearly empty & warm or just a few cereal to choose from, the basket was near on empty. No spoons on the table for breakfast serving. Still laid up from the evening sitting.

Great place for a short stay
Pros:

The staff were friendly and the price was excellent.

Cons:

The breakfast was underwhelming and the temperature of the room wasn't ideal. We had a standing fan but it didn't affect much

Ok but not the best sleep I’ve had
Pros:

Good price for a night away.

Cons:

Got very little sleep - big green light in the room. Tried to see if it could be switched off and found several blobs of chewing gum stuck to it. Bed not the most comfortable.

I can see why it won C4's "Four In A Bed"
Pros:

Hadn't realised there was a pub and restaurant connected to the hotel, so surprised to get a fantastic breakfast, evening dinner and cold drink from the bar.
Room is well designed and spotless.
Bed extremely comfortable.
Large wardrobe.
Room spotless
Plenty of safe car parking.
Great pub garden
Great looking and tasting pub restaurant
