Perfect, understated and special - when you know - you know….
Pros:

This is a special hotel , sitting in a pretty village untouched by mass tourism, Family run with carefully and kindly produced food. Honest and make with care .

enjoyable small hotel. lovely position and views, nice bar . real Scottish life.
Pros:

nice but a bit inconsistant depending on the chef

Cons:

i think room keys should be kept somewhere secure and not in the Bureau drawer.

Welcoming, warm and great food!

Friendly, welcoming staff. Lovely spacious room and clean bathroom. Both evening food and breakfast was delicious. A lovely inn to stay for a night, would certainly stay again!

Great, good people, good food great location.

A wonderful location managed by very friendly helpful staff. The menu was excellent with good food to match excellent service. Would go out of my way to stay there again.

Sadly disappointed
Pros:

I enjoyed the bath in our room. Plenty of hot water.

Cons:

I really didn't like being squashed into the bar for my evening meal.I would have preferred to have been in the dining room. Apparently there was a problem as to why we couldn't be in the dining room.

Pros:

Overall,we had a pleasant stay at the Colintraive Inn. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the co- owner likewise. Our room needed a little TLC,but was acceptable . Our only negative experience was one dinner (out of three) which was to be frank shambolic, a consequence of an extremely busy evening,I think. In fairness,this we were not charged for it and in fact we're offered a drink on the house. The breakfasts were excellent.

A decent stay overall and we would definitely return.

Great stay in a fantastic place.
Pros:

Love the Colintraive! The location is absolutely stunning, the staff are friendly and the food is good. This is the third or fourth time staying over there and it never gets tired.

Cons:

This time around, the food was a little tired - we ate towards the end of the night and you could tell. It wasn't awful by any means, but by the C's usual standards it felt a bit like it had been hanging around for a while. Otherwise, no problems at all.
