Lovely relaxing stay beautiful hotel.
Pros:

Beautiful grounds and location was super.
Staff were so friendly and welcoming especially went out of their way for our dog!!
Wonderful service and absolutely delicious food.

Cons:

The only slight issue we had was that our mattress was uncomfortable but we couldn’t complain about anything else.

Very relaxing, location was good for getting into Ipswich and the spa was a lovely start to our short break.
Pros:

Location and the spa attached. Also, a nice leisurely breakfast overlooking the grounds on the terrace. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Hotel cancelled our reservation less than 24 hours before check-in

Nothing, as they cancelled our booking less than 24 hours before check-in, we were not able to stay there (despite having already paid for the room)

Cons:

Very poor customer service. Rang me with less than 24 hours notice to tell us that there was no room available. Didn’t offer any alternative leaving us completely in the lurch. When we asked if they could find us an alternative they rang back offering a room in a sister hotel 20 miles away. The other hotel was fine but an additional 40-mile round trip to visit family who live round the corner to Kesgrave Hall.
We were offered a discount on a future stay but I would not want to book (and pay upfront as I did) for another reservation with this hotel group after the disappointment. Felt very let down indeed as this was supposed to be a special treat to celebrate a family 60th birthday.

Pros:

Only stayed for the night as it was near where we were meeting a friend so didnt experience much but what we saw was nice. The room was comfy and spacious.
