Pros:

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was brilliant and the chef and staff were outstanding also the room was spotless.

This is a lovely building that could be a top hotel. They have great staff, but cutting corners on the rooms lets it dow
Pros:

Staff were friendly and obliging. Great breakfast made better by their friendly attitude and lovely dining room.

Cons:

The room was a let down. Dated and run down. Bathroom smelled of urine like the toilet had a leak. Filthy pull cord on bathroom light. Hard bed, sash window cords broken so during our stay in hot weather, we had to prop it open with books. One socket inconveniently behind the bed, lamps missing bulbs. Tea and coffee almost impossible to make because of socket problem. You’d have to precariously place the kettle on bedside table, reaching a socket on a plugboard behind the headboard. It was dangerous so we didn’t bother.

Well priced hotel and ideal for a short break.
Pros:

Great location, room was adequate for our needs and breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Cons:

Shower could do with a grout clean and maybe a shelf to put stuff on but apart from that it was good.

You get what you pay for!
Pros:

Location great and price was great but beware, you get what you pay for!

Cons:

Not the cleanest of rooms, pillows could of done with a wash and shower curtain, not the comfiest bed, very old fashioned, bulbs not all working
