The location is great, very close to the city centre and they let us leave our luggage with them upon checkout to collect in the evening! smooth check in process.
The amenities are very basic for the price paid, but it’s fine just for a night to stay.

The location was handy, near shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
When we arrived, the website said we could check in at 2. Didn’t end up getting into our room until 3:30, staff were friendly but didn’t seem urgent to get us into our room. When we got into our room the sheets were soaking wet, and so were the towels. No toilet roll, and no reception or anything to request more. Actual room was alright however due to being connected to the restaurant, the noise was quite loud despite being on the top floor. Bathroom was dirty, however useable with something to cover your feet in the shower. Also no parking near by so the closest you will get is around a 15-20min walk, which is £20 plus for the night.
large airy room; nice breeze through open windows. Peaceful location with birds chirping. Nice to make tea and coffee and sip in the room. Excellent location. Great food in the downstairs restaurant as well.

Tidy, clean, comfortable room in a quiet street. Quite narrow beds so if you’re ‘supersize’ you’re going to struggle! If not, perfectly ok.
I left early but I don’t think breakfast was an option anyway.
In Room 4, the socket to the right of the fridge near the floor made a suspicious crackling noise when I used it to charge my phone so I took it out but already the tips of the plug were red hot.
Should get it looked at but when I checked out at 7:30am on the Saturday there was no one to tell (you just post the key through the office letterbox).

bathroom was stated to be private , but it is not attached. what was very upsetting was that even though i was promised noone else would use this bathroom, the trash had not been emptied. I couldnt find an alternative hotel at short notice because it was a busy weekend and so I stayed for 1 night instead of 2

I decided to check out a day early because of this but could find no one to give the key to. They refused to refund my second night, told me that the previous guest had not mentioned a problem with the hot water and that the maid had not reported a hot water problem when she cleaned the room. In other words, they implied I was lying. Will obviously not stay here again or recommend anyone else does.
