We arrived to a lovely welcome and shown to our rooms. Had afternoon tea served out under a tree in the hotel grounds. We all agreed it was absolutely lovely, with the most super scones!
The hotel rooms are really well equipped and super comfy beds
Our evening meal was superb, we all enjoyed the wonderful food complimented with a lovely bottle of wine from the wine list.
Breakfast was a meal that didn't disappoint at all.
We all really enjoyed our stay, the location, garden and the buildings are so impressiveevery staff member was so friendly and had time to stop and talk. There's absolutely nothing to complain about, and recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Grinkle Park hotel is such a wonderful location offering great value, with such friendly staff and an amazing homely place to enjoy a fabulous getaway with amazing rooms, meals, wine and breakfast, in glorious dining rooms with exquisite gardens and surrounding woodland grounds.

Last night of a three night stay and sad to be leaving. Have loved everything about this hotel. Old fashioned and quaint . Absolutely charming hotel. The staff are amazing, special shout out to Paul the manager and Charlie but every member of staff we encountered were so lovely and friendly. The food was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed every meal.Deluxe room was spacious. Cannot fault the place. We look forward to returning in the near future

Ok we reduced the average age of guests by somewhat BUT we would stay again! Fantastic location, friendly staff, comfy bed, divine food, lovely grounds. Shout out to Molly who is an asset to the team with her warm and joyful attitude at breakfast! Paul was friendly too and nothing was too much trouble! Ben on the bar was welcoming too! Super team!

Excellent view from our upper room overlooking an extensive lawn with trees in the background and upland woodland in the far background. The main building itself very impressive from the outside and well kept public rooms downstairs, comfortably furnished. Good to use the snooker table, despite the lack of decent cues, but at least it was free to play. Breakfast had a good selction of cereal, fruit and juices to start the day.

Grinkle park is an amazing and beautiful old house and grounds. While mixing the old traditional décor with comfortable modern styles and needs. Super friendly staff on 24hrs with a wide range of meals all through the day. The rooms are massive with WiFi and TV and bathroom. We even had a lounge area in our room. The beds are large too. The value is more than fair for what is included as we did breakfast, dinner and bed for two nights. While some of our group stayed in one of the cottages on the grounds which was out of this world. The hotel and rooms were spotless and maintained daily to a very high standard. In rooms beds were made tea tray replenished and even bottles of still and sparkling water.Even with our party been large the noise levels were peaceful. Having the grounds was so peaceful and tranquil as well. Plus the staff need a shout out as they were above and beyond helpful throughout the stay. A massive thanks to all especially Annette,Linda, young charlie and the lovely nights man.

The property was beautiful. From the well maintained long and sweeping drive to the imposing and impressive facade. The mature gardens were neat and tidy with plenty of seas and tables to enjoy the sunset and the interior is tasteful, clean, and interesting. The dinner menu had a selection of options, and for the quality of the food was very reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed the arancini starter and my partner was very happy with the smoked salmon. We both had the braised beef (cooked to a melting tenderness whilst retaining a deep flavour. The double room was clean and tidy as was the en-suite. We didn’t spend much time there (the cooked breakfast was really good), using it as base to explore Staithes and Robin Hood bay which are nearby. We will be back and are likely to book a second night to allow us to spend some time in the beautiful grounds. The staff were kind , thoughtful, and engaging - and are clearly very proud to work in such an amazing establishment. Very very happy !

We were looking for a dog friendly hotel in the Whitby area and Grinkle Park came up. A short telephone chat with reception and a room was available for the mid week at a special bed breakfast and evening meal included price.
What a super old Manor House it is, fabulous old wooded grounds, and beautiful mown lawns.
The staff were well organised and friendly. The food was lovely and very well presented. Drinks available in the lounge and bar.
As previously stated there is an older clientele. No lift.
I would recommend Grinkle Park Hotel and I hope to return some time.

Paul and the team made our first anniversary everything we hoped. A truly beautiful room, exceptional food and personal service at its finest. Thank you to all the staff who make it so magical! We will be back! Xx

Our second stay at Grinkle Park after a great experience last year. Stayed 2 nights.
Lovely rooms and superb food. Friendly staff who make an effort to engage. Nice and quiet location with easy access to the coast.

Stayed here for two nights on a midweek deal. I honestly would not have been surprised if it had been a bit ‘tired’. It wasn’t. Nice room with lots of space and a good seating area, big bathroom and large bed. The public areas were very comfortable and the staff were all absolutely excellent- knowledgeable, helpful and friendly without being familiar. The food was fine and at £32 for dinner represented decent value if not the best I have enjoyed. Lovely grounds enhanced by great weather which meant we could sit outside and enjoy the place. Negatives? Yes, awful pillows ( but we did change ours) and a walk-in shower would have better than the over the bath one. However, a very nice couple of days and good value in a nice place. We’ll be back!
