Perfect location. Quiet area will be booking again
Pros:

Excellent location, Grounds are lovely well maintained. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely quick service was able to eat in the beer garden as the weather was perfect.

Cons:

Beds were uncomfortable. Mattresses could do with a change

Location great, nice and peaceful, room cleanliness and food very good, both evening meal and breakfast.

Cons:

The bar was full of locals, so did not feel welcomed when ordering, also there was not a no smoking area, and almost everyone was smoking, so not particularly inclusive, if wanting to sit outside on the comfier seats. Loud work going on at a house next door so not peaceful when trying to relax.

Excellent stay, and due to sunny weather we were able to enjoy the outdoor eating areas.

Pros:

Fantastic overnight stay. Very friendly and welcoming. Great bar area and beer garden was perfect on a summers evening. Room was very clean and comfy. Evening meal and dessert was very good. Breakfast again was delicious and the produce fresh and tasty.

Pros:

Our breakfast hostess was friendly and attentive. The garden and bar were pleasant. Quiet location. The bedroom fan.

Cons:

Smallish room, bouncy bed, very small bathroom and shower. Very hot overnight partly due to the hot weather but also the hot water tank in a cupboard was like a radiator. The Room faced South and the blind had not been closed which would have helped to stop heating up in the day.

The garden was a good send since it was so hot on the May Whitsun holiday. My dog had shade and we had somewhere to sit around while we waited for our evening walks. The parking was good

Other than the mattress the stay was very good

The staff was amazing.

The mattress needs changing. due to the position people sleep in on the bed (2 people) the dents in the mattress was very noticeable

Good hotel, lovely gardens and fabulous staff
Pros:

Nice room with a lovely view over the gardens. Shower room small but did the job. It would have been lovely to have a drink in the garden but, unfortunately, it was raining.

Dinner was tasty and reasonably priced. Bar service was friendly.

Breakfast options were a bit limited but it was well cooked so not really an issue

Good but should have been more prepared for the hot weather!

Location, very quiet and beautiful. Lovely breakfast.

Cons:

It had been a very hot day. We arrived early evening and the room was unbearably hot! I thought they could have at least opened the windows to get some air circulating! There was 1 fan which gave us a little bit of air but we had to fight over that as there were 4 of us in the room and it was static so you had to be right in front of it to get any benefit so we didn’t sleep too well ☹️
