There wasn’t anything I didn’t like other than unable to get kettle under tap to fill it with water

Staff were lovely & the location was great.
Restaurant
Bedroom Very small
We were greeted in the bar by Michaela, who was very helpful and advised us to down load the Inn Keepers App so that we could get the offer of a free main course when ordered with a second main.
Breakfast was good and on our second morning they cooked me a variation of Eggs Benedict with Black Pudding rather than bacon, which was very nice.
Our first impressions of the room were how small and cold the room was (this was mid May). We eventually asked a member of staff to help us with the heater, which slowly warmed the room up, but there was no heating in the bathroom. I woke at 4am to the sound of loud music from the bar even though the bar was closed (it was explained to us later that there had been a fault on the entertainment system that caused the issue and we were compensated for the disruption, but no explanation was given as to why the night porter couldn’t turn the volume down or the music off).
Service in the restaurant in the evening was slow, possibly due to In Keepers having a good offer on over our stay of one free main with a second main and not putting on extra staff.
The room was perfectly cozy and comfortable. Probably the best night sleep I've ever had in a hotel, the mattress was so comfortable! Bathroom was super clean and the shower was again, the best I've ever had at a hotel. Breakfast was delicious too and all the staff were so nice and friendly! We also had dinner there and found the food lovely and the dinning area comfortable. Fantastic stay and we'll stay here again next time we're in the area.
Nothing! It was all perfect!
A nice setting beside the canal. Friends, helpful staff. Good food.
Comfortable bed.
Nothing
We booked a small double room so we knew it would be compact but it had everything we needed. Comfy bed and powerful shower plus clean and stylish. Food was delicious and staff very friendly. Great parking, close to a lovely canal and handy for the motorway. Ideal for our stopover from Scotland to Southampton.
Hairdryer didn’t quite stretch from plug point to mirror!
Very handy for canal, as we were meeting friends who were travelling on their longboat, and they could moor there. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Food was delicious evening meal and breakfast. En-suit shower room tiny but good powerful shower.
Fob on key so only guests could access room areas.
Nothing.
As always comfortable bed, quiet location, clean
Nothing
I just need a place to stay before going to The National Motorcycle Museum the next day. I'd been camping but weather was terrible so I booked this place last minute. Very cheap, I paid about £55. Decent pub with good food very close to NEC but felt like a coutry location with a nice canal next to the rear gardens. I parked and chained my motorcycle round the back and it felt very safe and out of sight of the road. Look, this is not luxury, however the rooms a clean with good ensuite (not massive), the food more than met my expectations.
The corridors to the rooms upstairs, although clean and well-kept felt very dark with rather yellowish lighting. A small niggle, this place was great for the money
