Excellent rooms in a great location. Staff were wonderful and worked very hard to make sure that everyone was looked after. Food was superb.

The room and hotel location
We booked a meal in the bar but we were relocated to the restaurant and told the menu and prices were all the same. We would have been happier with a regular bar meal. The restaurant prices were not something we expected to pay, and the food portions were poor. The taste was very good, but there was literally only a mouth full of vegetables with the steak and ale pie.

No salt or pepper on table, had to ask for them and it seemed they only had the one set

Great location.
The room was too hot and the window could not be opened due to the sash cord being broken. Repair underway .
The location is great but only for walkers or cyclists. If you are just after a hotel with nothing to do then it is perfect.
Absolutely awful music. Bar shuts at 10pm on a Saturday and the staff are rushing to get out at 10.30pm. 1 member of staff trying to be helpful and another not knowing what to do. Some of the food was inedible unless you like the taste of pepper. No taxis if you want to go to a proper bar to watch England. All in all not worth the price and we will not be recommending to anyone. If anyone would have bothered to ask how our stay was, we could have told them.
Staff very friendly. All tried to do their best when the coffee machine broke.
My room had instant coffee provided I would prefer a real coffee bag to be inline with the rooms that have a coffee machine.
The whole setting was perfect. The pub was gorgeous. The rooms were impeccable, the meals were amazing

Clean and comfortable in walking distance from the falls.
Thankfully, we had a fan in our room, or it would have been unpleasantly hot.
Car parking was a bonus. Amazing views*.( apart from the works)The food was good, but considering the heat, a vegetarian cold main would have been appreciated . Maybe a special's menu would help.
*They are having building works on the grounds, which we were unaware of at the time of booking, that would have been an issue if staying for longer and wanting to relax. However, once completed, they look as if it will be very nice extra places to stay. It would be great if some had hot tubs.
The apartment was amazing,the views beautiful really enjoyed our stay,staff in pub and restaurant very attentive and friendly couldn’t do enough.
Breakfast was disappointing on the first morning got ignored found a table ourselves but had to ask to order,buffet all gone, send porridge back as it was cold ask for butter twice,I appreciate it was busy but it was a special occasion and we paid more for our stay than we usually do,next two mornings a bit better.
