The perfect break
Pros:

Location was perfect! Peaceful and filled with nature, really tranquil! I booked this for my Mum and she has nothing but positive things to say, everything was lovely? Got an upgrade when she got there, staff were so attentive things were personalised, took real good care of her! Thank you so much for making her stay memorable she will definitely be back!

Cons:

I thought the grounds were beautifully maintained and a joy to be in. I can honestly say that I have stayed in more luxu
Pros:

I loved the gardens/grounds and the main building

Cons:

The windows of the courtyard building were dusty and cobwebbed. The room certainly wasn’t “luxurious “, it was very small (cosy?!) No where to put my suitcase. Very hot and a cooling fan which switched off after 2 hours. I was there 2 nights and my room wasn’t “refreshed” or restocked. The staff barely interacted and were obviously deeply involved in accommodating a wedding.

Beautiful property and friendly helpful staff but amenities in the cosy rooms are not up to scratch. Would go back but n
Pros:

It was a beautiful building with good facilities and lovely grounds.

Cons:

The cosy courtyard room was way too small. We expected it to be on the small side but it was tiny. We were in room 21 & it did not have a wardrobe just a few hangers near the door. Not acceptable for two women who wanted to hang up their outfits. We ended up living out of our bags & not unpacking. There was also no proper surfaces to make a cup of tea on or put out snacks to eat. Room just has thin shelving all the way around the room about the width of a tea cup. Our friends were in room 12 - another cosy courtyard room & they had a wardrobe & a desk but no space for us all to sit together. This trip was meant to be a chilled catch up and we wanted to sit in the room after dinner catching up and having some pampering time - unfortunately that was a real squash & v uncomfortable.

It’s was good but not what you expect when you see the building, the reception staff are incredible people
Pros:

The scenery and the staff
Although there was nobody at the bar when I went down in the morning to get an orange juice, ending up waiting for 15mins then left

Cons:

No air con in rooms, tiny cans of water, windows don’t open to let proper air in. No bar staff in the morning to get me cold orange juice which is bizarre.

Beautiful place, if you want a real (a bit posh) English experience.
Pros:

It's set in a wonderful park and very good looked after.

Cons:

To have a light breakfast as an option. We don't like the full English breakfast, so just to have a coffee and a croissant or something would be nice!
