Impressive exterior with lovely park grounds. Staff was very accommodating, bed was comfy.
I think I just wasn't that thrilled because of the price. We stayed only 1 night and that was expensive! And for that price the room was mediocre. The shower head had limescale so some jets were blocked. The cups we had were dusty, I had to wash them before use. Wall was scuffed, carpets stained. Was okay but just not something I would expext for 190€ a night
Beautiful grounds and buildings, lovely peaceful atmosphere
Didn’t think our room was anything special, on the small side, have stayed in nicer rooms for less money
Lovely setting, great grounds
Room needed painting and general tidy up
Beautiful grounds and overall appearance.
Rooms were very small and seemed dated. Also the bed was uncomfortable - the mattress had a topper on.
Great location close to where we needed to visit but the tranquility made it feel a million miles away.
A beautiful mix of old and tasteful additions to the newer parts. Very well kept grounds that are great for a stroll around.
Staff so helpful with everything went out of there way to resolve problems and make happy
No Aircon in signature rooms
Fans no good in this heatwave
Should have portable units until update is done and a room service for breakfast even just toast as not everyone can eat early in the morning a slice of toast should be a simple option for many people especially after events
The location was beautiful as were the grounds and the building its self. Staff were also lovely and very helpful
The bedroom advertised looked alot bigger on the website than in real life. I also think for the price, even though the room was lovely and clean - it could do with some modernising. The bathroom was spot on and no complaints. The bed was perfectly comfortable however the room was very hot so the big thick duvet that was on the bed would have been perfect for winter but maybe not the summer months. I also think for the price there should be some air-conditioning available. After looking around at other hotels for the same price or lower there seems to be alot more on offer for the money your paying.
Saying all this we had a lovely stay and will definitely be visiting again but maybe just not to stay over night.
The grounds were stunning and the little deck chairs placed around were a lovely touch.
It was quiet and rooms were immaculate.
All staff were super friendly & the food was delicious
There was some trouble with the card machines not working which meant some waiting around.
Beautiful gardens, spacious room and bathroom. A lovely setting and very close to where we needed to visit.
For the price we paid we would’ve expected air conditioning in the room. A fan was provided but it wasn’t up to much. Breakfast was very expensive.
