A lot of effort has been put into a property that is so old to make it feel exceptionally
clean, comfortable and like a home from home. Brand new bathroom, really comfortable bed. Peaceful.Excellent quiz night and bar staff! Unforgettable!we laughed a lot!
No tv, radio didn’t work, no food available on a Wednesday ( our fault) and the WiFi is hit and miss. The weather didn’t help .. shrouded with cloud and drizzle. Driving a large van along the single lane roads ( with passing places)was stressful in the mist .Not the hotels fault!! Only wish we’d experienced it when the weather was fair.
Excellent welcome on arrival-a member of staff showed us to our room and even carried our luggage! Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable-spacious, light and airy.
Breakfast was lovely-all fresh produce and well-cooked.
Centrally located on the island of Mull so convenient for the ferry terminal and the main town of Tobermory.
We will certainly stay again on our next visit visit to Mull.

Beautiful location, comfortable bed, quiet, clean, delicious breakfast, and excellent shower.
Dealing with luggage on all the stairs, but with historic buildings this can’t be helped.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The bar was a lovely place to have a drink amongst the clientele.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff and owners were so friendly, so attentive. We really didn't want to leave. It was exceptionally clean comfortable and spacious. Food was delicious. We had an amazing evening at their weekly quiz night, not laughed so much in a long time.

Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, es gibt keinen Fernseher und alles ist schon recht alt aber es gibt einen netten Aufenthaltsraum mit Brettspielen und Büchern.
Ben and Morven were great fun as were the other members of staff.
There’s nothing on here about food and there should be. The food was outstanding.
Not only were the breakfast cooked to order and substantial, but all credit to the chef. Evening meals were out of this world. I had a massive kettle of mussels - fresh in a great white wine sauce and perfectly cooked. My wife had a steak, beautifully cooked and very sizeable.
And the trout - oh, what a meal.

I kept on banging my head on the ceiling in the bathroom, but basically that was my fault. After all, this is a 17th century inn so a bit odd-shaped in places, though beautifully modernised and upgraded.

Wonderful interior and friendly, thoughtful staff and owners. Something different and elevated to your typical stay in these parts of the world whilst keeping things simple. Ultimately it’s a really quaint accomodation with lovely staff and a great kitchen.
The new owners have really thought about the guest experience for relaxing multiple nights or a single overnight stay whether you are a couple or a larger group.
