Lovely stopover in the Dales
Pros:

Friendly pub atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous.

Lovely place to stay in Grassington
Pros:

Great pub/hotel for exploring the Yorkshire Dales - bonus that it is the Drovers Arms from C5 All Creatures Great & Small. You have to bear in mind this is an old property so rooms will have 'quirks' relecting that. The staff were all lovely and food was very good - as was food from other places in Grassington too (they clearly all keep each other on their toes). Need to be aware there is no parking and it being a lottery whether you get parked outside in the village square or not; but there is a National Trust car-park a couple of minutes walk away. Would happily recommend

Cons:

Chairs in the room were tired and carpet wasn't great. Did have a plumbing issue when we checked in, but it got resolved immediately. Breakfast is fresh cooked so need to allow an hour

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Good central location
Food ( evening meal & breakfast) was excellent.
Room could do with a little updating but comfortable and had all that was required.

Cons:

We booked a Non-Pet friendly room as we both are allergic to pets, however, our room was Pet friendly. We were told all standard rooms were pet-friendly. Maybe this needs to be taken up with booking.com as this was misleading and wasn’t clear on the booking. We did manage okay though for the 1 night and with taking plenty of antihistamines.
