- Although our room was small it had everything we needed and access to a private beer garden
- Dog Friendly
- Nice meals available on the menu
- Loch Long right in front of the hotel
- The ferry trip to Dunoon
- Local cafes served amazing full Scottish Breakfasts

Cons:

- A rude group of condescending Americans speaking down to staff
- No fan or air con (28 degrees)
- Breakfast included would've been nice

We were very happy and pleased.
Pros:

Hotel is very quaint, room was of good size, ensuite was remodeled recently, slept like a log. Didn't have time for included breakfast sadly as caught early ferry to Dunoon. Its an easy quick drive down the road in front. Had dinner though, which was great. Staff were all so friendly and helpful ! Great to walk outside and along the promenade! Perfect location for catching ferry and was pleasantly surprised by everything else. Can't hear a thing from downstairs in the room. Would stay again !

Cons:

Nothing

Great location. Good value!
Pros:

The male staff were very helpful when I arrived ensuring my bike was safe etc. it was a friendly welcome. The evening meal and the breakfast were great. Again staff at breakfast were great. My room was small but fine for one person. Tv WiFi etc was all good. The location was superb.

Cons:

I asked a female member of staff if the dead flies around the window sill by my table could be cleared. She said yes but then did nothing about it. Eventually I used a serviette to hide them. There was about twenty and in the heat , yes they were dropping like flies.

Excellent location but not very clean.
Pros:

Location excellent , breakfast was very good and most of the staff were very nice.

Cons:

The whole place could do with a deep clean. We ate both nights in the restaurant the first night the food and service were really good. however the second night the food wasn't very good and lots of flies around while we were eating. There was not enough staff working as we had to approach the bar twice once to get a menu and the second time to order. The young lady who was serving was not very professional and quite rude at certain points. Where as the young lady (blond hair/lots of tattoos on arms) who served us the night before was very friendly, professional and couldn't do enough for us.

Excellent.
Pros:

Beautiful views across the River Clyde, the bar and restaurant was popular with the locals, which is always a good sign. Also a little corner shop next door was handy.
