Great stay and will definitely go again
Pros:

The food was great, staff were friendly and carried our bags all the way up the top without even asking us, very nice!

Pros:

A lovely stay at The Pig in Southampton. The staff were so friendly, chatty and accommodating, and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to the whole team for looking after us so well. Would happily recommend! Don’t tell everyone 😘

The experience lived up to my hope for an English inn. Fun, local-feeling and comfortable.
Pros:

It felt like the epitome of an English inn, but the rooms were a surprise how really upscale and lovely they were. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. It was close to the cruise port, which was why we chose it, but we would choose it again on its merits alone.

Cons:

It was all great, really, but some members of our party weren't expecting English pub dining when we ate at the inn. Just know what you're ordering so you're not surprised. That said, the food was good, just different from expectation.
