Excellent location and hotel.
Pros:

Loved the quirkiness and history of this property, they endeavoured to keep all the decor and detail in line with the age of the era of the property. Everything was perfect, premium toiletries and products. Facilities excellent and staff so helpful and friendly. We were a one night stay pre cruise, location was perfect for port but also to discover the old town of Southampton. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. So pleased we stayed here and what a wonderful place to stay.

Pros:

Location was fantastic. The bedroom was a very high standard. Liked the roll top bath.

Our stay was too short
Pros:

Very quaint and comfortable. Hospitality was incredible and the staff very accommodating. Great breakfast. Wonderful stay before getting on our cruise ship. Wish we could have stayed a few more days.

The room and staff were great

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing. The continental was lacking. We went down 35 minutes before breakfast ended and they have run out of all pastries and when asked for more we were told yes but it would take 20 minutes. Surely this should be topped up until breakfast ends?

Great location, quality hotel very near the cruise terminal and walking distance to restaurants/bars
Pros:

Great locations, quality room furnishings, and amenities. Friendly staff who work hard and provide good service. Breakfast was excellent too.

Cons:

There wasn't really must not to like, the only thing I would say is it would be considered quite expensive when you have to also pay for breakfast. But thats the only slight negative. However we have the cooked breakfast and it was excellent quality.
