Brilliant weekend getaway venue with the dog! Will certainly go back.
Pros:

We were only in Coniston for a quick weekend break, but the staff and venue were excellent. Extremely dog friendly as well, and the food was great. Big hearty breakfast too - the Junior breakfast was more than enough to be honest! Throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Cons:

Nothing really, it was a great stay. For some reason when I booked it, I thought it had parking on site - it doesnt. You need to park on the street (which is very limited as you'd expect) or pop it in the pay and display a few hundred yards down the road. Not a major problem and I still don't know why I thought there was parking on site!

Tiny room with a tiny bathroom
Noisy unit below which kept me awake every night .
No parking facilities so additional cost of £30

Pros:

Location and staff were excellent

Cons:

Room was adequate but could do with a refurbishment, the shower was just a trickle,
only used it once, didn't risk it a second time, the taps in the hand basin were much the same.

Great trip in Coniston!
Pros:

Had a wonderful two night stay in the yewdale inn! Food was lovely, room was comfortable and clean and staff were friendly!

Cons:

The only thing I would say is that the WiFi connection was not very good in our room but it was fine as we just connected to our mobile data.
