Nice pub, room requires significant TLC
Pros:

Pub was fabulous. Felt authentic olde worlde. Good location for what we needed it for.

Cons:

The room was spotlessly clean, but could definitely do with a bit of money spending to bring it up to a standard commensurate with the price being charged. Grim is too harsh. But only just.

Excellent for Thorpe park
Pros:

Super close to Thorpe Park which was just what we wanted.
Lovely staff, great home cooked food. Quaint old pub with rooms.
Plentiful hot water and a good comfy bed.

Cons:

Not much really. Rooms are a little dated but super clean. So not really a moan. Just an observation. Wouldn’t stop me coming again.

Lovely room, lovely food, lovely atmosphere!
Pros:

What a little gem of a place! We stayed in the family room for 4 which was huge and enjoyed a lovely meal in the evening. Staff and regulars were so friendly and the decor inside and out made for such a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend if you intend to go to Thorpe Park.

Cons:

Nothing, I was really happy with everything.

Personnel très accueillant et souriant, qui a trouvé une solution pour mon soucis de valise. Chambre super, emplacement super à proximité de Thorpe Park, pub en-dessous super et plein de cachet. Top !

The location was excellent and only 7mins from Thorpe Park 🥰 Phil greeted us and made ys fee very welcome 🙏 as did all other members of the Team

great location, clean and comfy room, very pleasant staff, very easy for a quick overnight stay.
Pros:

Really clean, excellent service by the staff, comfy double bed in a single room, easy check in/check out, great place for an overnight stay.

Cons:

This was NOT a problem as I was aware beforehand and was reflected in the price, no breakfast available and on a hot day, no aircon as it's an old building but supplied a fan which was adequate.

Absolutely perfect, clean and most of all, clean towels every day and refresh our teas coffees and biscuits.
Pros:

Its was located close by to where we needed to be. The staff and attention to detail was excellent.

Visit family time
Pros:

The staff was brilliant so helpful and friendly. Food here is delicious. Drinks good. The ciders best ever! We will definitely stay here again as that was our first ever time in Chertsey. Beautiful town.

Cons:

Didn't like where our room was as the beer garden was under our windows and it got noisy at the wkend nights. Everything else was great though. Would definitely stay here again but I'd be asking for a different family room maybe to the front of the building..

Great little Hotel, excellent location to visit Thorpe park.
Pros:

Stayed in this lovely hotel with my 2 granddaughters for our visit to Thorpe park. The hotel is in a perfect location, the bus stop is a short walk (2 mins) there’s a couple of supermarkets 5 min away.
The hotel itself serves lovely food and the staff were very friendly, particularly the lovely lady who cleans the rooms every day always smiling and very polite. Beds were so comfortable and not at all noisy, we all slept well.
Overall the Hotel and the location is perfect, would definitely book again :) .
