Pros:

Stairs to room not to steep.

Cons:

Bed was looking nice 4 poster, however in hot weather a 4ft wide bed is to small for us both too sleep in.

Hotel ako od Agata Christie.
Pros:

Personál bol.skvely a ústretovy. Super poloha na plazi. Pred hotelom stojí viac autobusov. V okolí hotela je vela rôznych reštaurácii a barov. Pesi je to do centra 15 minút.

Cons:

Nefungoval výťah. Ranajky boli neskoro az o 8:30. Mali by sme o ne zaujem, ale bohužiaľ to bol neskorý cas vzhľadom na nase povinnosti.

I didn’t enjoy the stay at all, though I ended up paying lot of Money.
Pros:

I didn’t like so many things.

Cons:

WiFi was not at all working.
Food and alcohol was not allowed in the room.
View was not upto the par, the way they showed in Pictures and Price we paid for.

Enjoyed our stay here.
Pros:

What a lovely old building. Very well located, we had a side view of the ocean and pier, just far enough away from all the hustle yet close enough. There isn't many sockets in the room but what do you expect for a victorian building?! Decor is dated but i loved that. Lovely spacious room with two double beds and plenty of tea bags and coffee etc. The bathroom was adequate and clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful. WiFi was good. Iron in room. Plenty of pillows.

Cons:

The fan didn't have a front cover on it so we used it with caution as it was so hot, but we weren't bothered enough to ask for a replacement. Toilet basin cracked inside but not leaking. The shower head was high up and facing down, not great if you don't want to get your hair wet.

Having been going to this hotel for 25 years I was very disappointed.
Pros:

Very good staff and location. Breakfast lovely.

Cons:

The bedroom. So dark, had to have the light on. Fire escape stairs immediately outside window. No view at all. Bathroom had mould around shower. Needs repointing. Lock on bedroom a normal long key where other rooms had better keys, so made me think my room was just given for when they are full. This couldn’t have been the reason as my stay was for 3 nights and I only saw 4 other people in the 3 days. Each morning I was the only one having breakfast.

Atmospherical old place even the locals are curious about
Pros:

Not many bad locations in Brighton for seeing Brighton but I had a sea view so was a bit more special rather than looking at an alley which is the case in Brighton hotels. Staff were lovely. The age and character of the place was great and also I found it quiet inside.

Cons:

Had to hand my key in every time I went out. Bit old fashioned but staff on all night and I had a safe. Lift Broken and that’s the way it is evidently for a while. I was on top floor and although offered a hand with bag I had to go up and down these a few times a day and after walking around Brighton needed an extra gear to do that having reached retirement. Toilet continuously ran.

Nothing special & in need of a refurb but an ok stay for the price.
Pros:

The price was very reasonable, good facilities inside. Bar, lounge,breakfast room.
Staff friendly & helpful.

Cons:

Quite dated & in need of a refurb. However it is a large hotel with a lot of competition around so can understand why it isn’t tip top.

Seaview and balcony comfortable bed, hot water, tea & coffee, free parking space

Cons:

Booked on the premis of a lift to get to second floor as both have arthritis, but it was out of order and stairs were a struggle. Breakfast was £17.50 extra, when booking gave impression it was included. We ate for breakfast instead, delicious and much cheaper. Doors slamming at night, could have done with softer closing ones. No robes or slippers provided as was advertised and very limited toiletries in bathroom. Hand-wash and bodywash same product, no shampoos.

Lovely hotel, great service
Pros:

I have stayed at this hotel before, fantastic location and my room looked directly over the sea. Everything close and a fabulous walk to Hove one way, Rottingdean the other. Wonderful and efficient staff.
