Amazing stay, lil pricey
Pros:

We really liked the location, it's absolutely middle of nowhere, rooms are comfortable though very simple, breakfast was good too,
We paid for the lunch and dinner, but absolutely worth it, it's so yummy and fresh and hot. Highly recommend the dinner menu specially ceaser salad

Cons:

Because the breakfast was included, we were expecting some more options like croissants or sweet muffins. But may be it's just us, although they provided classic English breakfast which was good but not for us. And what we paid we were expecting lil more. Overall it's a good property.

Pros:

A small cosy hotel in the heart of Buttermere. Breakfast in the morning is a big bonus. Lovely staff, nice rooms.

Cons:

I ordered a goat cheese tart for dinner but was served two grilled slices of cheesy toasts topped with a lot of mushrooms. This wasn't as described on the menu. For £17 this was quite disappointing.

Lovely hotel but very thin walls meant a disturbed nights sleep.
Pros:

Very friendly staff, nice pub grub, good breakfast.

Cons:

Walls were so thin we could hear the room next door just having a conversation. Very noisy with lots of banging through the night.

Tolles Ziel im Lake District zum Wandern und Entspannen!
Pros:

Cons:

Nichts zu meckern!
