a peaceful night in a comfortable room.
Pros:

pleasant location in Wimbledon High Street; easy walk to Wimbledon Common.

the staff were helptul in assisting us to get our heavy suitcases up to our room.

Cons:

The access to our room (number 26) was up steps of rather steep stairs - the elevator only went part of the way. Certainl not accessible for people who cannot handle stairs.

Great stay, highly recommended.
Pros:

Fabulous location. The room was ready on arrival which was a real bonus for us. The air conditioning was fabulous! The cookie in the room and the Wimbledon gift were great. Lunch reservation had been sorted and we had a great meal. On return we got a table and ate there for the second time. Breakfast was simple but good. All staff were friendly and very helpful throughout whilst being so busy. Well done all.

Cons:

No problems for us but the shower was temperamental. Great pressure though. Tiny chips on paint/walls but nothing that impacted our stay. It was great.

Room loud from band below and shook all night
Pros:

One week before a non refundable stay during the Wimbledon tournament time , the hotel chose to inform us a band would be playing until midnight each night of our stay. We asked to have a quiet room. However with nowhere else to go, we had to endure a band so loud the room shook and we could hear every song clearly. Bed uncomfortable and shower leaked water everywhere. They had no business charging us for this room. Don’t come.

Fabulous,
Pros:

Boutique style, individual and modern but quality, air conditioned room had its own outside balcony. We had been given an upgrade when we arrived 🤩

Cons:

What’s not to like!

Disappointed
Pros:

Distracted staff, don’t really seem to engage.More interested in the Wimbledon publicity photos & talking to each other than serving customers .it wasn’t a busy part of the day yet still had to clean our own table of old food . Chicken Caesar salad came without anchovies. Boiled egg white was under done & croutons were stale. Shame as the chicken tasted nice. When I asked the waitress about the lack anchovies she said it’s probably in the sauce and did nothing about it leading to me asking a guy at the food service hatch who said the same thing but at least he then served me some anchovies . Just a disappointing experience in a lovely setting .
