Block out blinds were awesome
All staff were friendly and helpful. We Had a drink in the bar which had a nice relaxed vibe . great location for queensferry.
There was no shower in the room and filling a bath was time consuming ( not a massive deal) The room was dated as hotel is old and had a bit of character but it was clean.
Excellent staff. We shared a pint or 2.
Great location
Nicely decorated room. Walking distance to grocery. Comfy beds. Nice shower.
What a little gem in beautiful Queensferry! I was visiting Edinburgh for a quick city break and saw The Stag on booking.com and thought I would give it a go. The staff were amazing so friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. I think I was the only one in on the night I stayed had a shared bathroom to myself, this wouldn’t bother me anyway if there were others staying. Food and drinks were very good price. For breakfast try the bakery next door also excellent. Great views of the famous bridge too!
Knusse kamer, restaurants en supermarkt op loopafstand. Het uitchecken.
Moeilijk om met openbaar vervoer op zondagochtend naar Edinburgh Airport te reizen.
Le site! Et le charme d’un « hotel » pub ancien.
Rien
Ein schönes altes Gebäude mit Pub. Gute Aussicht. Nette und freundliche Leute.
Love the pub downstairs and the bath was amazing!
Beautiful location on the seacoast, with stunning views, very traditional, with lovely staff. Recommended!
No wifi. This is bad for anyone visiting more than one night. In 21st century Scotland, it is expected.
Beautiful view and wonderfully comfortable. Lots of mirrors and seats in the deluxe double served perfectly for my stay (getting ready for a wedding)
The shower in room 1 is a bit tired and rusty. Could do with replacing the frame
Nice room and was clean. Staff helpful and despite being over a pub, wasn't too bad for noise as room further back.
Couldn't turn heating radiator down for some reason so had an uncomfortable night sleep. The UHT milk for room tea/coffee not very good so bought a pint of fresh milk from local store. View from window a bit limited but there were better sea view rooms on offer.
The view ! And a very good bed. Quiet as well
