Pros:

Supervriendelijk personeel. Behulpzaam en met extra effort voor het veilig stallen van mijn fiets.
Nette, verzorgde en propere kamers (met oog voor detail).
Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt.
Centraal gelegen in een leuk stadje met een leuke vibe.
Hotel heeft wat verouderde grandeur maar dat maakt het net weer charmant.

Very dissappointing.
Pros:

Reception assisted taking luggage up stairs to my room.
Car park right behind hotel (but not reserved so actually fully occupied on my arrival after 8pm).
In centre of town, close to castle, riverside walk & a good selection of restaurants & shops.

Cons:

Basin plug chain missing & cold water pressure so low I couldn't shower. Bedside light not working. Hot breakfast had been out for an hour & was stone cold at 8.20am with no staff in attendance. High street traffic noise kept me awake, then woken up by blues & 2s at 2am (OK not their fault!) but windows not double glazed to reduce traffic noise (possibly an idiotic planning restriction for a charming historic coaching inn)

I was very lucky as the hotel was just a few minutes walk away from the river and the castle.
Pros:

I was lucky as it was a Saturday and they had several guests, so they prepared a full English breakfast buffet menu. The room was one of the biggest I have stayed in, so I can not complain about that. I had a shower as well as a T.V. in the room.

Cons:

The hotel is very old and quirky, with rooms and stairs going off in all directions. I have knee problems, so a lift would have been nice but it might be hard to get permission to install such a thing in such an old building.

Good value and lovely staff.
Pros:

It's great value and the staff are very welcoming, especially the lovely Croatian lady who appears to be doing everything (and with a smile). Bedrooms need a refresh but my stay was quiet, comfy and welcoming.

Cons:

Nothing. It's good value.

Could be have been much better

Location was good for us

Cons:

Plumbing does not work, room 106. Toilet needed multiple pumps to flush. Shower unusable as water pressure so low. Had to have unsatisfactory bath. Took a long time to fill as water pressure so low. , so very shallow.
