What a perfect stay from the moment we checked in. Can’t thank the staff enough for their warm welcome. Cannot fault the place. Immaculate and perfect location. Thank you to all at Clockface
Clean. Perfect location. Faultless. Amenities. Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was pleasant.
We didn’t eat here but the location was good for us and the property was very good and everyone very helpful and obliging. Excellent parking.
Everything was fine
Great location. And lovely staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious
It was low on wardrobe space and no fridge but not the end of the world
Location great.
I picked this hotel based on location and since I was staying only 1 day - I'm not too fussy when it comes to picking a room but when I walked into this one, it was way better than expected.
Nothing stood out - would happily stay again here
Breakfast was good
Breakfast could have been offered every day
The bed was amazing, we both had a great nights sleep. The room was decorated beautifully
The TV options were limited due to the ariel connection, it kept glitching, which was extremely frustrating
Staff were so lovely! The room was beautiful, I had everything I needed, and the pub downstairs was great. Noise wasn't a problem - everything closed at a reasonable hour (and they provided earplugs just in case, too!) I felt like if I happened to need anything it wouldn't be a problem, and to be honest it was so well stocked there was nothing I lacked!
In the middle of the night, I woke and saw an eerie green glow through the frosted glass bathroom door... it was just the smoke alarm light, but in the darkness it was very bright! Not a terrible thing, but freaked me out for a moment ! Also, it would have been good to have the wifi password somewhere in the room - but nipping downstairs to find it wasn't difficult.
Wonderful old building and comfortable, well-presented room. Large bathroom with full-length bath and strong hot shower.
Very tasty, well-cooked bar food at great prices in lovely surroundings.
Well-stocked tea, coffee and biscuits in room.
Hopeless wi-fi (4G was better!) and glass door to bathroom: much too light in the early morning from the enormous sash cord window.
We stayed for two nights as the hotel is ideally located close to Aintree. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The room was gorgeous—stylish, comfortable, and spotless. The staff truly couldn’t have been more helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.
