The Mulberry Inn

Wir wurden überaus freundlich empfangen. Obwohl die Küche 10 min zuvor geschossen hatte, durften wir noch zu Essen bestellen. Das Abendessen war sehr gut. Mein Mitreisender hatte am Folgetag Geburtstag. Ich bat um eine Kerze für das Frühstück für ihn. Das freundliche Frühstücks-Personal brachte ihm einen Küchen mit Kerze und hat für ihn gesungen. Auch das housekeeping war sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Alle Räume sind sehr gepflegt und stilvoll. Das Badezimmer geräumig und modern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

The rural setting and the garden were such a bonus.

We loved everything about it. The staff were superb, always smiling and eager to help. Lots of little touches around the place such as a sweetie jar and apples on a console table for residents to help themselves. The rooms were very well equipped, again the generosity of the biscuits etc exceptional. Though we did not partake of the things in the fridge I did check out the prices. They were amazingly low compared to other hotels. We both thought our dinners were absolutely superb. The breakfast was probably one of the best we have had with again little touches not seen in most hotels. Will we return - you bet your life we will.

The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and exceptionally well equipped. The management and staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

What a little gem, what a find! We were driving (from London) to Holyhead for the ferry and wanted to break the journey overnight. The Mulberry Inn seemed like a good spot, located near Llangollen (a few miles off the A5). Oh my, what a location! You could here a pin drop. The hotel itself was on the edge of a sleepy little hamlet with a shop and post office. The scenery was superb, with views across the valley! The staff were super, nothing was too much. The food was high class quality, perfectly presented! The rooms were right up there with some of the best we've stayed in, with added little touches to make your stay even more enjoyable! The gauge of a great place is the returning guests, and this was so evident! Allan (the owner) has done a wonderful job, and we'll certainly be back!

Nice and clean, really friendly staff.

The evening meal was very good, as was breakfast.
It’s in a lovely area.
The room, whilst billed as a Cosy Double, was a good size for us and our two dogs and had more amenities than we expected.

First time we've ever had our own carton of fresh milk for the tea/coffee. Plenty of biscuits too and an honesty fridge.

We had an amazing experience at The Mulberry Inn. The service and friendliness of the staff was outstanding. We accidentally left a suitcase on departure. Jess and Allen went out of their way to arrange to have the suitcase forwarded to us via Royal Mail. We cannot express our gratitude. The food was outstanding too.

Really welcoming staff who were very helpful. The whole place was spotlessly clean and decorated in a really fun way. Homely and comfortable. Room was a good size and had a nice bathroom. Well stocked with tea and local biscuits.
Also had excellent instructions on how to get there which was very helpful!
