The garden was beautiful, the food was amazing and the rooms are lovely
Maybe allowing app access on the tv
The staff were excellent and helpful and the dinner in the restaurant was excellent.
Superb. Comfortable, large rooms. excellent dinner and breakfast, Second time I've stayed and no complaints on either stay. 35 minute walk to town (Betty's). Last stay lucky enough to have the sun and use the excellent beer garden.
Plenty of room and good facilities
All good
Well located for visit to RHS Harlow Carr. Evening food very good and outside area lovely. Bar area very nicely decorated, plenty of seating.
Breakfast options a bit random, lots of choice for hot options but NO cereal, fruit or bread offered. Breakfast staff, one waiter so served all tables along with covering reception. Some areas felt very neglected on the cleaning front with cobwebs etc very evident.
Not a great variety but what there was available was really nice
Everything was lovely but the staff were exceptional
The food was good when it arrived. Service was very slow.
Quicker service. Wider variety of food - not everyone wants a cooked breakfast. No fruit salad. No cereals.
It is a lovely property and the room was modern and big. Bathroom lovely with rainfall shower. Perfect.
2 stories up with no lift. Different menu for breakfast if not included £35 for 2 porridge, 1 scrambled egg on toast , 1 eggs Benedict and 1 slice of toast for 4. Bit pricey. Food on Thursday night great but sauce at £3 extra never came and asked for large rose wine £20 again pricey.
Beautiful building. Lovely hotel in a lovely area. Great parking. Lovely staff. Lovely food.

The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and a splendid shower.
Everyone was very kind and helpful.
it would have been useful to have an extra chair or shelves for putting clothes and belongings on.
Lovely place, lots of style and surprisingly, substance.
Good food, great staff. Good breakfast too.
Breakfast was acceptable, however toast doggy as poached eggs placed on top and can’t have been drained well.
Location perfect for my requirements.
Evening meal disappointing. Bland pasta dish, and my husband had fish and chips which was bland too.
Wine by the glass expensive.
Pretty, well decorated etc.
Dirtty shower.....
The food was delicious
A 'night light' for the bathroom would have been appreciated as it was very dark and putting on a light at night makes it difficult to get back to sleep
