I’ve had this hotel on my list for 20 years and it didn’t disappoint
Pros:

Beautiful setting and our room was large lovely ( although bathroom could be updated … it was still immaculate). Loved the new updated decor

Cons:

The pool area needs a refresh but i’m sure it’s on the list

Good stay!
Pros:

Lovely hotel grounds. Lots to do and great for the kids. Room was spacious and we received an upgrade which was very appreciated. Kids loved their bunk bed! Little gifts for the kids were nice and thoughtful. Lovely staff lady at outdoor swimming pool. Very helpful.

Cons:

Food was expensive yet the quality didn’t match the price. Cauliflower steak and beef cheek were below average. Pork pie at the bar and cheese and ham sandwich were incredibly disappointing. Service was incredibly slow in both Dining Room restaurant and the bar. We waited over 30 mins for dinner and 15mins for coffees where they only brought one… forgot the other. Hard to get attention and feels like you’re forgotten once you’ve been served. Trailer bikes unavailable which is fair enough as first comes first served. We asked to get a call when one was available and we didn’t get one despite seeing them returned outside. No lifts - not ideal if you are travelling with babies/small kids.

This is a glorious character filled hotel set in a large amount of land with access to a very pretty beach . There is plenty of space even when the hotel is full the property still feels very spacious. I particularly love the terraces and the open air pool.

Stunning hotel. Excellent service and the whole place is just absolutely beautiful
Pros:

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Everything had been carefully thought through and we had everything we could have possibly wanted. Breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve ever had!
Room was lovely, decor was neutral and calming and we had our own private little courtyard garden.

We had a very nice and relaxing stay and really enjoyed much of the spa and pool facilities.
Pros:

Beautiful throughout and fantastic facilities on site.

Cons:

It would have better if the hotel had given us an insightful tour of the many facilities and things to see and do, which would have enhanced our short stay.
