Sehr stilvolle Unterkunft, schön ländlich in der Nähe von Berwick gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig und das Hotelpersonal war sehr nett. Das Frühstück war mehr als reichlich und ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Cons:

Es war aufgrund der für Nordengland doch recht warmen Tage auch in unserem Zimmer sehr warm. Das Fenster war bei unserer Ankunft noch geschlossen und der Ventilator lief nicht, so dass wir die Wärme auch später nicht aus dem Zimmer rausbekommen haben, zumal sich das Fenster auch nicht richtig weit öffnen ließ.
Die Dusche im Bad war sehr schwer zu regulieren und das Wasser kam sehr heiß raus.

It is a beautiful hotel. Some updates needed though. But the weather was awful, so we didn't get to walk around much. Restaurant is good. Overall it was a great place.

Nice spoilt by lack of air

Cons:

Windows in room 19 did not open to dispel the heat but I did notice the rooms over the restaurant did not have this stupid restraint and could open fully , I am unsure on the logic ? Anyway I slept outside till 02:00 as room unbearable

Pros:

Everyone was really friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome and couldn't fault the attitude about dogs being welcome that was the big thing for me they made us feel like they enjoyed our dog being there as apposed to tolerated , so many thanks .

Anniversary Weekend
Pros:

We stayed in one of the pods with private hot tub and it was amazing. We had a super king bed which was amazing. Complimentary wine, prosecco, cans of juice, crisps and nuts were a great tough. Hot tub towels, robes and slippers, toiletries also provided. This space was so well equiped.

Cons:

Really poor wifi. Although we had the pod we were B&B. First morning we waited 10 mins for coffee and toast to be delivered to table, toast was cold asked for a fresh stack and that was also cold, 30 mins for food to arrive and second 25 mins, food was excellent qualiy.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Beautiful property, well maintained, large room and even larger comfortable bed.
Quiet.
Restaurant was excellent as was breakfast. Great service, good quality food.

Cons:

A couple of oversight in the room: one of the milk cartons was off, and there was only one glass. Other than that, really couldn't fault.

Beautiful Borders prperty for relaxing and exploring.

Living In A Tin Can 😖
Pros:

Själva huvudbyggnaden var bra. Restaurangen var också utmärkt. Hundvänligt.
Bra att bo inför båten till Amsterdam från Newcastle.

Cons:

Som att bo i en konservburk av plast. Mycket trångt, och det gick inte att borsta tänderna eftersom vasken var så liten.
Väldigt dåligt att det inte framgick när man bokade att man inte fick rum i huvudbyggnaden som fotografierna visade.
