Very stuffy
Pros:

Nice part of the country just off the A1 the breakfast was very nice with a good selection of food

Cons:

The bedroom was very hot and the window didn't open it had double glazing behind the original window this made the room very stuffy and very hot at night they did provide a fan but you don't want to use it through the night, I didn't see any windows open in the whole hotel the windows in the bar had the old rope from inside the window hanging out.

Lovely hotel, great staff.
Pros:

The staff are so lovely, welcoming and helpful here at reception, bar and restaurant. We were shown to our room rather than just handed a key and told which floor it was on. We just had a standard room but it was large and had a great bathroom with a walk in shower. We had a meal in the restaurant which was superb.

Nice hotel, shame about the restaurant
Pros:

The room had a garden

Cons:

The restaurant was awful, the staff were slow and inattentive and I sent my steak back after it arrived in a plate full of blood ! I was compensated after speaking with the manager, however it completely spoilt our stay

good location however we would not recommend another stay to either family and friends
Pros:

staff were good and attentive, breakfast good, however a set breakfast menu only works if everyone either follows it or instead writes down the actual cooked breakfast as ordered by guests neither myself or wife were given the breakfast as ordered. not a big issue just disappointing.

Cons:

basic hygiene lack of cleaning in both bedrooms and main guest areas in particular carpets, either hotel need to purchase new vacuums or need using more frequently, also stained and dirty armchairs in bar area need cleaning

Good hotel convenient for Berwick.
Pros:

large clean bedroom and bathroom, pleasant outlook, good food, plenty of parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful, though it wasn't a 'wedding' night.

Cons:

weak coffee at breakfast. The bedroom doors banged.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Room tired as was hotel. Needed revamp. Scuffed_wallpaper and skirting.
Food extremely over priced for cost definitely don't eat there unless included in room rate.
I had 3 pork dish but veg was one potato and 2 bits baby leeks too rich but ate as hungry and spent a lot of time taking gaviscon.
Breakfast was included and I did not want anything but staff made me a sandwich so I could have it later. Extremely good friendly and helpful staff.?
For one night a good stop over but don't eat there.
