The pod was lovely and cosy with plenty of gadgets, bed was a nice size. Food in the manor was lovely.
The pod was covered in several cob webs, round the inside window inside door round the head board, telly and ceiling, these where noticeable withing 10 min of arriving to the pod so would be noticeable to cleaning staff.
Peaceful surroundings
Mattress on bed was flat and uncomfortable
Lage toll, Ausstattung gut, sehr schönes Frühstück
Anti-Rutsch Belag in der Dusche wirkte ungepflegt ( verfärbt)
We stayed withnpur dog in a pod. The pods are small, but very well thought out and we were pleasantly surprised at the space we had. It was spotless and also cleaned on the second morning of our 2 night stay. The hot tub was very hot!
Our dinner and the breakfast were delicious.
The staff were all very friendly, helpful and clearly loved dogs!
Nothing to dislike.
Top quality dining, superb setting and views, same price as the nearby Travelodge (not that I would ever stay there). Loved the location being literally walking distance from the Scottish border.
Beautiful place to stay

Lovely Georgian mansion in a parkland setting. Staff were friendly.
We didn’t sleep well because our room was hot and stuffy. Room 19 is directly above the kitchen and its noisy extractor fan was just below our window which wouldn’t open properly.
Lovely staff, comfortable rooms. Excellent food.
Had to close room window due to traffic noise (garden view room). Room had cobwebs but only a nuisance to spider frighted person.
Love the place, stayed numerous times & never been disappointed!
