Didn't meet my requirements

The bar area was nice and relaxing.

Cons:

Asked for an accessible room when booking due to being disabled, we booked 5 months before, we did get an email saying they would do there best to meet our request, on arrival we got told our room was upstairs, yes there was a lift but a long narrow corridor didn't help, asked if we could ve moved to be told no we are full, I could not use the shower as it was over a very high bath, reception staff very unhelpful. We have stayed at this hotel every year for the last 5 years and never had a problem.

Pros:

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The reception desk was kind and helpful. I booked the airport shuttle with them the day before departure, and all went well. It cost £8 for an adult one-way. There's a restaurant and a bar downstairs that serve yummy food for a good price.

Cons:

The rooms have poor soundproofing; you can hear people walking and talking in the corridor very easily, along with the airport noises.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Comfortable bed. Better than usual shower and TV. The room was generally quiet.

Cons:

There was no room to use a chair whilst watching the TV so I had to use the bed instead. The room was looking a little "tired" (but I should mention that it was very clean).

Very basic, walls paper thin, could hear next doors antics all night, not appreciated. Had a glass of rose wine in bar, it was warm.

Dirty, dated and tired. Stay at the Premier Inn up the road for the same price.
Pros:

Location is ideal if you're going to/from Manchester Airport.
Bed was relatively comfortable (but only one pillow each)
Bedding and towels were clean, though the "bath" towels weren't much bigger than a hand towel

Cons:

The whole building is in need of a refit and redecoration.
The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, someone's purple shampoo was splashed down the shower curtain, which rinsed away quite easily. Tile grout was dirty, the shower head was crusted with limescale and the bath had seen better days. There was no bath mat to use on the tiled floor. There was also a brown splash on the wall and sliding door near the toilet. Furniture is water damaged and the windows were filthy, inside and out.
The buffet breakfast was OK but tables and chairs were sticky and dirty. The door to a small store room was open and looked disgusting and there was a smell of sour milk. The cook came out and berated the girl at the service desk for not telling her there was no food left.
When I checked out the guy didn't even ask if everything was OK or if we had enjoyed our stay.
