The room was ready ahead of schedule the staff were amazing to deal with. The cleaning lady was wonderful. The room was very clean and organized.
Checking in was difficult, I went to where the check in desk was only to be sent to another place in the restaurant, then shipped off to one last place before checking in. Adding a note at the entrance could leave people less confused on how and where to check in.
Awesome old school hotel. Very nicely renovated. Friendly staff. Very clean.
Limited parking. And a car show set up all around our vehicle on Sunday morning which was rather challenging to get out.
The staff is friendly, the room and the bathroom are comfortable and clean. The pub on the ground floor offers good food and drinks.
In the centre of Okotoks, close to shops and other facilities.

Proper cups in the room would have been nice (rather than disposable ones).
Staff! After I had checked in, I was led by Czarina to a table, where she made some beyond excellent recommendations, which were absolutely spot on. She also helped me - a COG* - connect to the Internet. I was only going to have one drink, but – I insisted that she insist that I have a second and a third. What a delightful server!
The room itself is what I would call a “boutique hotel room” being uniquely unlike anything I’ve ever stayed in before. I thought I was going to be in a western movie, having a hotel room above a “saloon“!. I am so happy. I drove a few miles out of the way to stay in this fabulous one of a kind hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet, water place!

The room was not large but very well layed out,power and charging both sides of bed, the in house restaurant was very good.
I think this was in a great central location! And I loved the atmosphere! The cozy lobby made me want to just sit and read a book! Be cautious though… they have a little hidden side room with Casino slots!!! Lol time and money can sure get away with you in there!🤣
It was a little confusing about checking in… I had grabbed a bite to eat in the restaurant before checking in. And noticed there was no one ever at the check in counter…. And it was only by chance I asked the waitress if she knew where I check in…and she informed me it was with her. Which I would not have automatically assumed. Although, also made total sense as it is such a quaint little establishment. Oh, the only thing I actually found ‘frustrating’ - volume for the tv’s very hard to find. It is not on the remote. It is a recessed button on the actual tv.
The new renovation are nice
For an older hotel and right down town,,, the price is getting to be expensive when you can stay at other hotels and have a free breakfast! We will do more research on pricing next time we come to okatoka
