A very enjoyable stay in a rather special hotel.
Pros:

The view from our room and balcony was outstanding. We were situated high above the lake and could see the whole mountain range on the other side, as well as much of the lake itself.
The garden and grounds were beautiful, and the internal decor was remarkable - richly ornamented with high quality materials and entirely in keeping with the 19th century Victorian origins of the hotel without being at all heavy and gloomy as many such interiors are. (Don't go here looking for modern design)
The public areas and dining terrace overlooking the lake were delightful.
The staff were without exception attentive, cheery and very pleasant.

Cons:

We had no air-conditioning in the room, and the weather was hot. But that seemed in a way appropriate for the style of the hotel and was acceptable.
There was a small problem with shortage of staff for one meal, but all those present worked extremely hard to compensate and were suitably apologetic.
The hotel is a long way above Montreux, but there is a mountain railway station nearby if the drive is a bit arduous.

Pros:

Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
Ontbijt was heel goed veel keuze.
De locatie is schitterend, mooi uitzicht op het meer en prachtige tuin en zwembad.

Cons:

Niets, alles was zoals gewenst. Ik kan niets opnoemen voor verbetering.
1 min puntje is dat er geen safe was voor persoonlijke spullen.

Pros:

Breakfast is an amazing buffet that you can eat on the patio with a beautiful view. The view from my room was just insane. They upgrade my room to a large bed and room with a balcony, and it started off my stay so well. There was even some fruit, cookies, and sparkling water in my room to welcome me. And breakfast was included in my rate which started off my days so easily.

Cons:

Although it's tandard in Europe, it was so hot at times without any air conditioning. There was some noises that happened at night and woke me up. I had the balcony door open at night for cooler air so it made things a little louder. Some more power outlet adapter options for guests or even some USB outlets would be great. But it possible to go buy one from the Forum Montreux mall in the city.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt in einem Bijou von Hotel
Pros:

Wir hatten - nach einem grosszügigen Upgrade - ein Zimmer mit Seeblick. Die Aussicht auf den Genfersee und die Berge ist spektakulär. Toll ist auch der Pool im Garten. Das Haus ist ein antikes Jugendstil-Schmuckstück - sehr schön.
Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Das Frühstück reichlich und sehr gut, sogar frische Früchte und Lachs waren da.
Für den Besuch in Montreux haben wir die urchige Zahnradbahn genutzt; 5min. vom Haus entfernt und mit Gästekarte kostenlos.
Den hauseigenen Parkplatz haben wir sehr geschätzt.

Cons:

Jammern auf hohem Niveau: der kleine Lift ist oft besetzt. Treppensteigen ist gesund...

Vollkommen zufrieden!
Alles sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet, atemberaubende Aussicht.
Frühstück sehr vielfältig und für jeden was dabei.
Sehr nahe an der Zahnrad und Standseilbahn die einen super ÖV anschluss Bieten und ein tolles Erlebnis sind.
