This spot is truly ideal. Sitting in front of a grand, towering mountain feels like being framed by nature itself. The landscape is so beautiful it seems almost unreal—like living artwork. And the gentle sound of water flowing blends seamlessly with the view, creating a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere.

Der Service war unglaublich gut. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und bemüht.
Als wir deutlich vor Check-In eintrafen, gab es schonmal ein Mittagessen und Getränke.
Die Unterkunft ist einfach super schön!

Het hotel heeft een prima ligging om de Paul vallei te verkennen. Het ontbijt is heel goed, net zoals het avond eten.
Er was een probleem met de airco op mijn kamer door de hoge luchtvochtigheid, dit hebben ze perfect opgelost door me een andere kamer te geven. Wat een service!
Ik keer terug!

Las camas eran comodísimas, el alojamiento en sí es un palacio.
El desayuno estaba bastante bien.

Nagyon szép helyen van a szállás, a sziget egyyik legszebb környékén. Csillagtúráztunk erről a helyről. A reggeli finom, elégséges. Vacsorát is érdemes megkóstolni. A kertje szép, a medencéje szuper. Csendes szállás.

we verbleven van 18 mei tot 21 mei in het hotel. Het is een mooi hotel op een prachtige plek van waaruit je kunt gaan wandelen. Het is fijn dat je er kunt eten, want in de buurt zijn er geen restaurants. hun Caipirinha is fantastisch.

Des prestations exceptionnelles, le cadre, le personnel aux petits soins, un lit très confortable, la qualité du petit déjeuner et dîner. À recommander sans hésitation.

Excellent location generally speaking, and especially for the famous Cova–Paúl trail. Every morning you wake up to stunning views over the valley.

If you visit during the festivities of Dia de Santo António (13th June), which I truly loved, you can even experience the procession passing right in front of the hotel. A unique and authentic cultural experience.

Getting around is easy without a car. You can take a coletivo/aluguer for around 70 escudos to Pombas, and from there connect to Ribeira Grande, Ponta do Sol, Porto Novo, and other areas. To reach Cova or Cruzinha, a taxi is usually needed, but the hotel is very helpful in arranging anything you need.

The hospitality is outstanding — warm, kind, and always ready to help. It is a perfect example of what Cape Verdeans call morabeza, the spirit of welcoming and kindness, especially from Georgette, who was the most warm-hearted.

I stayed in the shared room at Hotel Château Georgette. Most nights I had the room to myself, and when shared it was with very friendly Cape Verdeans from São Vicente, which made the experience even more special.

The coffee was really good.

Also highly recommended: the Georgette apartment in Mindelo if you are spending time on São Vicente.
