Hôtel magnifique, juste quelques soucis avec le personnel
Pros:

L'hôtel est très bien situé sur la rive la plus calme de Louxor, et c'est aussi très pratique d'accéder aux temples et tombes. Le service gratuit de bateau-navette pour accéder à l'autre rive est très appréciable !
L'architecture et l'aménagement de l'hôtel sont superbes. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les espaces extérieurs, la piscine offre un rafraîchissement bienvenu quand il fait très chaud.
En raison de la taille de l'hôtel, tout semblait calme et tranquille alors même que toutes les chambres étaient occupées.
La chambre elle-même est richement décorée et très confortable, nous nous sentions réellement comme dans un palace.
Le menu au restaurant de l'hôtel variait tous les jours et certains plats étaient vraiment délicieux.
La gérante nous a donné de très bons conseils pour les visites !!

Cons:

Le personnel du bar où est servi le petit-déjeuner nous a mis mal à l'aise. Nous avions l'impression de devoir justifier chaque jour de ne pas vouloir manger ceci ou cela. Mais c'est surtout mon expérience en tant que femme qui était désagréable. Les serveurs m'appelaient "Bardot" ou "Gazelle" alors que mon mari était gratifié d'un simple et respectueux "Monsieur". Dans un établissement de ce standing, je me serais attendue à mieux, d'ailleurs le personnel du restaurant nous traitait à égalité. Le personnel de la réception s'est excusé de ce comportement lorsque nous en avons fait part.

Très établissement bien situé au bord du Nil

Cons:

Lit trop petit. Salle de bains (bac à douche indigne de ce niveau d’établissement. Les égyptiens (guide) n’ont pas l’autorisation d’accéder à l’établissement. Donc si vous avez des amis égyptiens que vous les souhaitez inviter, il faudra aller ailleurs.

Magique et hors du temps, nous avons adoré ce séjour !
Pros:

Hotel situé en bord de Nile ce qui rend le séjour encore plus spécial ! Le personnel accueillants, chaleureux et à l'écoute. Une chambre somptueuse avec vu sur le Nile pour des réveils et douceur et des couchers de soleil à couper le souffle.
L'histoire de l'hôtel rend le séjour encore plus particulier.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !!

C'est la 6° fois que nous séjournons au Djorff , donc pour nous un hôtel exceptionnel :-) l'endroit est magique, au bord du Nil, à la campagne, une architecture de rêve, le personnel et les patrons sont très sympathiques et à l'écoute de tous vos souhaits, la décoration des chambres est chaleureuse et magnifique, propreté irréprochable malgré la poussière de la campagne! Bref, un véritable paradis pour nous et nous y reviendrons très vite <3

A small group of us stayed for 4 nights.Fantastic location on the West Bank with a free ferry over to Luxor. Amazingly beautiful architecture, friendly, helpful and attentive staff. So much nicer than the standard cookie cutter 5 star hotels on the opposite bank!

Solitamente non scrivo recensioni, ma questa struttura merita davvero un riconoscimento speciale. Ho soggiornato qui per il mio 30° compleanno e non avrei potuto scegliere un posto migliore.

La Struttura e la Posizione:
L'hotel è immerso nel verde e in un giardino curatissimo. Si trova sulla West Bank, lontano dal caos di Luxor: qui regna il silenzio, interrotto solo dal fruscio dei canneti e dal canto degli uccellini che nidificano proprio vicino alle camere. La vista dal balcone è pura poesia. Le camere sono bellissime e la pulizia è impeccabile.

Il Personale e lo Staff:
Il vero cuore di questo posto è lo staff. Tutti, dalla reception al personale di sala, dai ragazzi della piscina ai barcaioli, sono dolcissimi, simpatici e incredibilmente premurosi. Un servizio barca efficientissimo è disponibile da mattina a sera per portarti dall'altra parte del Nilo in ogni momento.

Cibo e Servizi:
Complimenti allo Chef: il cibo è semplicemente BUONISSIMO. La colazione è abbondante. pranzo e cena cambiano ogni giorno con ampia scelta. Ottima anche l'organizzazione delle escursioni: la reception mette a disposizione auto e driver a prezzi molto vantaggiosi.

Un ringraziamento speciale:
Infine, un grazie immenso a Marina. La proprietaria è una persona meravigliosa e disponibile che ha reso il mio compleanno indimenticabile, organizzando per me una torta a sorpresa e un magico giro in barca sul Nilo al tramonto.
Mi mancherà tutto di questo posto. Grazie ancora di cuore a tutto lo staff per aver reso questa vacanza così bella!"

Pros:

Amazing rooms and hotel, great food and staff and owners brilliant. Lovely to meet the owner who was originally from England too. Recommend to use their advice and drivers as we wouldn’t have had such a great time without their help.

Las instalaciones son lindas, aunque un poco forzadas.

Cons:

La comida es pésima para los estándares egipcios, empezando por el desayuno que es más un mal desayuno continental europeo, que las delicias que recibimos en otros hoteles egipcios. Las reglas del hotel hacia los locales son, además de groseras, absurdas para los huéspedes. A nuestro guía no lo dejaron entrar a la recepción para avisarnos que había llegado a recogernos!!!

Would be delighted to stay there again.
Pros:

Unusual traditional design, wonderful West Bank location, Nile crossing boat provided, staff really pleasant and helpful, attractive gardens, reasonable breakfast, great swimming pool area.

Cons:

No window curtains, so bright in the morning. We didn’t enjoy our one meal in the restaurant but it was very late and about to close.
