It was okay.
Pros:

The reception at night was nice. Even though I came in late at night (around 2am), Ayman was really welcoming and offered me food and asked if I needed anything really politely. The others were a bit sullen. The room was well presented and the bed was a good size (I’m 6 ft 2) and comfortable.

Cons:

The room was a bit small. The toilet sink had stains in it and, as a muslim, that’s an issue for me as I need to lift my feet to wash them in there for ablution for prayer. That appearance alone put me off the toilet overall. Otherwise, everything else was relatively clean. Check out time was a bit of an issue for me as I’d arrived late at the hotel and stayed up to go out, get some food and pray. I slept around 4-5am and got up at 11:55 and started to pack my things ready to go planning to have a shower and leave. At around 12:15, the morning reception woman called me and told me to checkout at 12. I explained my circumstances and requested that she give me half an hour to pack up shower and go, but she said you have 20 minutes, which sounded a bit like a threat. I ended up packing up, getting dressed, brushing my teeth and leaving in a hurry without my shower. That was a bit stressful. I went down to hand her my keys and, although she was pretty, she let me down when I told her that it wasn’t nice to make me hurry out, she said at least I gave you 20 minutes.
