We were disappointed with the lack of facilities as advertised. It has a general run down feel.
Pros:

The owners and reception staff were helpful and friendly. Fernando and his family were charming and welcoming. The property was potentially very good with its decor and classical piazza and rest areas. However it needs a lot of maintenance to reach that standard.

Cons:

We booked the hotel for 4 nights as it advertised a bar and food. However the bar was closed and we had to walk a distance to the neighboring residential park to eat or drink. The park bar was a pool bar which looked like a canteen with plastic chairs and only served Pizza and Hot dogs. The hotel bar opens only for the rastro market on Wednesday morning. This is the only time that snacks are served. There is a self service machine in the foyer which contains tins of drink and basic cold snacks. The advert for the hotel is therefore misleading. Our double room was basic with only a shared pillow and no cups or glasses. It was clean.

Excellent
Pros:

Hotel was exceptionally clean with really friendly helpful staff. It has a beautifully Spanish feel to it with a stunning indoor courtyard. Lovely and cool place to sit and read. Great walk in shower, water pressure excellent. Wednesday is market day and we had a lovely Spanish breakfast out on the terrace.

This hotel is rated as one of the best that we have stayed at, only because of the wonderful people!
Pros:

What a welcome, we have never had an experience like it. wonderful friendly people, we were made to feel just like family. Highly recommended! We will be going back for a more extended stay. Breakfast was great also & marvellous service,

Cons:

We couldn't fault it, we couldn't ask for anything better.
