The hotel was very noisy and not at all a suitable place for rest; reaching the room involved navigating numerous flights of stairs along an uneven path. The mattress was lumpy and uneven, and ants were crawling everywhere—we even had to throw away our food because the infestation had spread to our suitcases. Although we didn't consume anything there, they billed us for items we hadn't used; be careful, as it is not a safe place, and they arbitrarily add extra charges.
From arrival to departure, the team at El Oceano worked hard to ensure that our stay was perfect.
Staff from poolside, to restaurant, to front of house, to cleaning, provided a professional, friendly service that really was first class.
The chefs created delicious, high quality food served with stunning ocean views.
It’s far from the cheapest holiday I’ve had but it’s undoubtedly one of the very best.
I hope to become one of the frequently return guests!

Reception, bar, restaurant and entertainment areas all merge together, so there is nowhere really to escape the music

Beautiful sea views from the pool area, very tranquil and the restaurant views are stunning also. Easy access to to the boardwalk to walk to the beach.
Slightly overpriced for the quality and size. I booked a studio which didn’t have any sea views and didn’t realise it was in a separate building. Asked about sea view room and was offered for an extra €100 per night which was way too expensive. Late checkout not available on request either. The lady at reception didn’t go out of her way to make you feel special, customer service needs a bit of work.
Great hotel, facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. There is a board walk between the hotel and beach which provides safe access to the beaches and a good exercise route to the adjacent beach resorts.
The beaches are rocky and the sand is coarse or shingle in front of the hotel.
Food and drink is expensive, breakfast 18€, main courses 48€, bottle wine 28€.
Everything!! Fantastic accommodation, perfect location, rooms spacious, beds incredibly comfortable, staff were brilliant, breakfast was excellent! I’d recommend to everyone!

The service by the staff was excellent. Tasty cocktails. Food at the restaurant was amazing. Beautiful ocean view from pool area.
The gym room didn’t have air conditioning so it was a little bit hot to work out.
