Great location. The heat wave made it incredibly hot in our room with no AC.

The location and town were incredible. It was also a very nice hotel in general

Cons:

We were there during a heat wave - with no AC and one small fan it was miserably hot and refrigerator did not work very well. This is particularly outside of their control as it was the hottest it’s been in France I believe.

Rouen ist großartig und sicher wiederum eine Reise wert, dann aber eine ruhigeres Zimmer bevorzugen.
Pros:

Das Hotel selber hat Charme und auch das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Cons:

Die zentrale Lage hatte leider den Nachteil, dass es in der Nacht auf Sonntag in den Straßen um die Altstadt herum sehr laut war bis spät in die Nacht, und der Schall durch die darunterliegende Gasse noch verstärkt wurde. Eine schlaflose Sommernacht!

Für eine Stadtbesichtigung von einigen Tagen bestens geeignet.
Pros:

Ideale Lage hinter der Kathedrale, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichteter Frühstücksraum, sympathisches Personal, z.T. denkmalgeschützter, gepflegter Altbau

Cons:

Wie in älteren Hotels üblich, ist für einen großen Reisekoffer eigentlich kein Platz im Zimmer. Kein Schrank, Ablagemöglichkeiten knapp! Einfahrt zur nächsten Tiefgarage gut versteckt.

Vooral de geweldige locatie maakt dit hotel prima
Pros:

Een geweldige locatie, midden in het centrum. We hadden een van de kleinste kamers, dan heb je weinig ruimte. Het is oud, maar alles is aanwezig, het is schoon en een prima warme douche. Er staat een koelkastje op de kamer. Het ontbijt is heel uitgebreid en goed. Binnentuin is ook prima plekje om even te zitten.

Cons:

Het is er gehorig. Met raam open hoor je heel goed alle geluiden vanuit de binnentuin. Omdat we er in een hele warme periode waren, was het erg warm op de kamer en moest het raam s nachtes wel open.

Goede ligging in centrum bij de kathedraal. Mooi oud pand. Super goed ontbijt.

Certamente la posizione centrale anche se non si possono scaricare i bagagli all'ingresso ma in una via limitrofa e poi trasportarli a piedi fkno all'hotel.

Cons:

Nella ristrutturazione dell'edificio si sono suddivisi gli spazi per creare più camere possibili,per cui per accedere nella nostra camera si passava prima in bagno e poi in camera. Il rubinetto del lavabo era occluso dal calcare tanto che a malapena usciva un filino d'acqua.... il personale non si è mai accorto di nulla?

Pros:

Rustic, medieval setting off the alley behind a cathedral. Great location for walking through the historic town.

Cons:

Not the cleanest, with some cobwebs in our room. The window didn’t have a screen, which freaked us out because there were lots of pigeons and we were on a higher floor. Parking is not available, so we had to park several blocks away.

Prima hotel om Rouen in meerdere dagen te voet te verkennen
Pros:

Prima hotel in hartje centrum. Een compleet ontbijt met alles wat je verwacht. Verse croissants, Normandische kaasjes. Jammer van de steenkoude eitjes. Heel fijn een koelkastje op de kamer. Elke dag roomservice. Water uit de kraan kwam er door kalk aanslag bijna druppelsgewijs uit, moet al jaren zo zijn, hoort bij de charme van het hotel waarschijnlijk. Ook een zonnig dakterras met uitzicht op de toren van de kathedraal.
Heel bijzonder en authentiek zijn de te horen klokken van de verschillende kerken in de omgeving (absoluut niet storend).
Vlak bij is bushalte bus F7 Republique die rijdt van naar treinstation Rive Droit. Kaartje kan je kopen in station bij loket van Astuce. Supermarktje Carrefour om de hoek.
Aan de overkant van de weg aan de Rue Martainville vele restaurantjes. Restaurant Simone beviel ons het best, Vlak bij Museum van Schone kunsten ook In Situ.
Trek 2 uur uit voor Historical Jeanne d'Arc,, interessant in beeld gebracht

Cons:

De Wifi ontvangst was heel bedroevend, instabiel en door het hele hotel wisselend. WiFi was eigenlijk afwezig in de kamer tenzij je voor het raam ging zitten. Oorzaak: heb wel 34 wifi-zenders gemeten (je gaat toch kijken waar het aan ligt :-) ) meerder zenders zijn sterker dan die van het hotel en allemaal geconcentreerd op dezelfde paar kanalen die elkaar de tent uitvechten. Tip voor hotel: laat er eens een technicus naar kijken en zet de hotel wifi op een vrij kanaal.

Une catastrophe cet hôtel. Je comprends assez mal ceux qui apprécient le côté « resté dans son jus ». J’aime les hôtels qui ont le charme de l’ancien, mais là le jus se résume à une forte odeur de moisi dans les chambres, une douche avec des traces noires derrière un rideau en plastique, un lino imitation carreaux de ciment pour tenter de faire croire à des travaux, des fenêtres sans double vitrage avec impossibilité de dormir au vu du bruit jusqu’à 3 heures du matin dans la rue, une literie bas de gamme archi inconfortable, un service inexistant (il faisait 35 degrés mais l’hôtel ne propose pas de vente de boissons, il faut aller à l’épicerie du coin, et comme il n’y a pas de mini-frigo dans les chambres, impossible de stocker des boissons fraîches). Le seul avantage de cet hôtel, c’est son emplacement. Pour le reste, à ce prix là, c’est tout simplement scandaleux.
