The bar was very quiet

Amazingly friendly reception staff. Couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel is in a fantastic central location and is a dog friendly hotel, they are allowed everywhere except the restaurant. The hotel is clean and parts are refurbished but it represents good value for money as long as your expectations on decor match the price you are paying. It’s clean and with a dog is perfect for a few nights stopover. It’s good value for money and we found it quiet and so comfortable for dog owners , they really love having your dogs there. Did I mention the lovely staff !!!
It needs some TLC and a spruce up in certain parts but it is a value option for a couple of nights in a central seaside town.
The room was vey nice, but we were informed that there were going to be no breakfasts only days before traveling there was no time to change plans or hotels I was not amused. Pity I thought the hotel as a lot going for it.

The beds were small and extremely uncomfortable, the mattress had collapsed on the sides and we left early
Bed uncomfortable very noisy location and had to be moved rooms because room was dirty, toilet didn’t work or flush and carpets dirty and stained
It was a lovely room with an amazing view and very comfy.
It needs a little more thought and tlc to get a top top rating.
For a start there is no where to store your suitcase. You get a mat but the only place you can use is the bed.
Secondly the room is L shaped and the beds are far apart.
The tv ( come on in this day and age you can do better than this tiny screen) is impossible to watch from both beds.
Also the decor was needing sorting a few damp patches.
It’s a lovely hotel and it just needs some attention to detail.
I could go on but hopefully management will pick up on these points.
All in all it was a great hotel that with a little more effort could have been even better

Great location close to the beach. Free parking at the front of the property.
Comfortable beds, a good nights sleep.
Faint whiff of dog in the room. Dog hairs on the carpet. En suite floor was not that clean . Shower was old and although adequate, the bathroom could be updated.

asked for payment when already paid. previous occupants receipt still in the room. previous occupants (ladys) make up all over the bathroom. No food except continental breakfast. Never asked how my stay was otherwise would have communicated the above. not what i expect for the price

Booked a superior room but was disappointed. Cramped bathroom. Very dated. Lots of stairs to struggle with luggage

Not able to use cash at the bar. Drinks little pricey.
Lovely hotel, staff were excellent very approachable & helpful. Facilities good for dogs too (dog towel bins)👍 and lots for water bowls in gardens. Outside benches & tables if want to enjoy outdoors.
There was a Continental breakfast available but no restaurant or breakfast at our time in August.
